Green Bay (-3) @ Denver (11-1-15)

If Peyton stops spotting the other team points with pick sixes or otherwise put the D in a jam, I think it will be close. GB can still, probably, put up at least 20 even without Manning handing them an extra 10 points.

GB has by far the best D and O, and QB (MVP)  that Denver has faced this season. All rolled in to one team. Denver's defense has been winning games against mostly lackluster teams. Barely. Which is amazing given how terrible the offense has been.

Denver's offense needs to wake the hell up if they want to have a prayer against GB much less NE. If it's more of the same joke of an O after the bye - GB 30 DEN 10. (10 points scored by the defense on INT's, 0 by the offense.)

Who knows? Maybe DEN will have righted the ship after the bye.

Well Manning didn't hand GB 10 points, but the refs did. I was hoping DEN would play fair on offense but I never imagined they'd be lights out in all three phases of the game. Well frickin' done.

Oh, you did put money on it. You may want to find a different "profession"

I put $50 on it, and I don't know why you always have to try to start stuff with me and a lot of other posters on here. Also, this is not my profession. I do accounting and poker for a living and fantasy sports as a 3rd option to make money. Betting on sports is literally the 4th way I make money, and I rarely do it except in rare situations like when Ray Lewis is retiring or there is a death or disaster in the NFL that will make a good story if a certain team wins. This was a situation where Manning was underperforming and he was facing a very good defense and the best QB in the NFL in Aaron Rodgers. Now crawl back into your hole until the next time I make a mistake so you can send me 5 messages about it.

It was easy to tell that the Green Bay defense was no where near what the stats showed. When you play 2 offenses that can't play football you look better because that's a third of your games. The Denver defense though... maybe they really are as good as they show...

I'm guessing you better stick to accounting.

And I haven't sent you any messages

Jared, you don't have to change your signature my friend. It's all fun to me , I knew Denver would win this and Peyton is Peyton = the best ever.

Thanks for showing me mercy. :) I watched this game and it was good to see Peyton have a great game for once and against Aaron Rodgers. You were right and Iam proud of Peyton for having what could be said as his best game of the season.

I don't mean PMs, I mean you've sent me messages about the Panthers run defense where I made an honest mistake about 3 times and now you are quoting me here 3 times telling me how bad of a gambler Iam and a bunch of other junk. Just because I missed one game doesn't mean I'm a bad gambler. I'm a lifetime winner because I'm not neccessarily a gambler, I'm an exploiter, and I bet on games that are rigged. I've made more than you gambling, and because I lose one that was very tough to figure that Peyton would have a great day and Rodgers would stink, doesn't mean I stink at it. I'd like to see your biggest wins cause you always sound so cocky degrading people however you can.

I honestly thought Green Bay would win this easily.  Rodgers had 76 passing yards for the game!  I wonder what that D's gunna do to banged up Luck with an awful O-line next week? I am glad the Broncos proved me wrong.

Denver's D is Great, I knew along Denver would win this game and Peyton would play Good too. I bet my avatar signature on it. I think Denver will smoke NE too. I am a Colts fan 100% and have been since 1984 but I picked Denver to win it all and I still love Peyton.  haha NE fans create a silly Thread saying Peyton has a noddle arm. NE is not winning in MilleHigh how's that sound. I will call this my Peyton revenge tour, wink.

Today the Broncos exposed Green Bay...their O-Line is fraud, they can't block worth a damn, also those receivers have no chance when you line em' up with good defenses.

Also GB defense is just horrible at run stopping...it made Denver look like the best running team in the league.

So you bet on KC over Detroit right?

Rodgers 77 yards, just goes to prove betting on football is stupid. Manning turned back the clock with 21 of 29 for 340 yards placing the ball all over the field. Then there was the Giants/Saints game-what was the over/under on that one?! The Raiders -Carr looked great, too bad they are in the same division as the Broncos. Dallas is lost which makes me happy as Jerry Jones now 71 yrs. old hopes for one more before his checks out.

Yeah, GB was awful, especially Rodgers who yet again came up small in a big spot on the road. Denver run game was they big key to the game along with their TEs as well. Manning looked much more comfortable so the bye week for sure helped the O get in sync but GBs game plan on O was terrible. Just held the ball too long.

Didn't look at that game, tell me how it was rigged. The lions are a bad team, but KC is equally as bad, especially in their pass defense. That seemed like less of a lock than Denver and Green Bay. If I was going to bet on something that seemed rigged this week, it would of been the TB/ATL game based on Kwon Alexander's 17 year brother being killed and the league wanting him to perform well for a good story. Not surprisingly, the Bucs won.

That's the point, if you look hard enough there are storylines in most games. What about Santos playing at Wemberly just as he said he would to his father before his death. By your logic the league rigged the game so KC wins, though tiu think they would have made a better storyline.

I challenge you to find any actual proof that games are rigged which isn't circumstantial.

This was actually a pretty easy bet. A home team with arguably the best defense in the NFL getting points? You TAKE the points EVERYTIME. The over/under was a little tricky, and I was timid as hell that last 8 minutes with the way Denver was running the ball, at will, and Green Bay's defense looking all but dead. I cashed in on the +3 and under...

Denver's D is absolutely scary and if that offense can continue to be efficient like they were last night, they are going to be tough to beat come January....

If I could prove that any games are rigged, I could put the NFL out of business. My bets in those situations have paid off though. I'll admit the GB/Denver one, I bet off of stats and analysis rather than a storyline. I bet on the GB/Denver game early while the spread was -3 GB and I didn't see the Santos or Kwon Alexander news as I was at the casino a good portion of the week. Sometimes you lose, you just have to move on and look for those games that you think are based on a good storyline. I don't want to take the fun away from anyone, but it seems that the NFL is media driven in that way, and the refs may be in on it as well. Thanks for telling me about Santos, I didn't hear about that.

Ok but you can at least take educated guesses as to how it's rigged. Who's in on it, everyone? Just the coaches? The refs?

The bolded part makes absolutely no sense..... You do realize you could have bet AGAINST Green Bay and won.. Denver getting +3 was a joke of a bet. Vegas knew they would get people laying money on Green Bay's side because of their offense, but that's what amateur's do. Not taking the home team, with the best defense in the NFL, and the +3 is a head scratcher in my opinion.

I watched a clip on the 49ers/Seahawks game and how it was rigged on youtube to make the no1 offense that year in the broncos go against the no1 defense in the Seahawks in the SB. It was said that the refs were the ones who were rigging it and that the coaches and players had nothing to do with it. There was evidence all through the video about how the refs rigged the game for the seahawks and screwed over the 49ers.

That's a video with evidence throughout the game, and it's only one example of shoddy, rigged officiating on these games if you look hard enough. You might not be able to view it from this site, if you can't, go straight to youtube and view it.

That would have been stupid thus my statement "betting is stupid". but Rodgers only getting 77 yards I would like to see when in his history did he come up short like that.

The other thread about the game has Rodgers' history of playing on the road and against top-5 defenses... not pretty...

So you're telling me Denver will also beat Indy in Indy next week too?  I am not gunna lie, I can't imagine anyone in there right minding believing Aaron Rogers would get held to less than 100 passing yards.  I give that defense props.

Betting is a crapshoot. I am usually only 50/50 on my predictions so that leaves me even, meaning I have never won big, but I have never lost big either. I feel for people that bet 1000's of dollars and lose if they cant afford it.

I hope Indy wins but I think Denver beats us. I want to see how we play tonight before I put a prediction on it. Denver isn't going to run the table so maybe their 1 or 2 losses could come here? Lets see how tonight goes.

Colts beat Denver a couple of years ago when Denver came in undefeated so anything is possible. I am looking forward to tonight's game. I think Indy's D can get to Newton and keep the game close.

This would be a gigantic win for Andrew going against Cam who I call his equal. They both play the same style, both can make plays out of nothing, both can run, pass on the run, etc.. Reason why I say Luck is better is only because of his Playoff success but I respect Cam a lot.

Again, your first sentence made you sound pretty incompetent to betting, but then again Vegas is Vegas for a reason...

Hey genius boy I don't bet period. You sound pretty bold over the internet like most skirts.  Perhaps if your level of competency was a tad higher you would be calling plays for an NFL team instead of tossing little cotton balls at other posters on a football team website.

When 'anything is possible' comes out, the underdog is usually in trouble.

But the Colts aren't a bad team....and eventually that will show up

First let me say, I enjoy your posts for the most part because they're funny.

But let me ask you a question? Are you here to just point out flaws or small mistakes in people's posts, or to discuss football. 95% of your posts aRe just telling someone they're wrong or pointing out an issue with a post that is frivolous. I am just curious.

It seemed kind of over the top to pounce on that guy for betting one game wrong, especially one that hard to predict.
