ColtsBlueFL
Even when George was on the team. E. George scored the Titans 2 TD's in the Super Bowl vs. the Rams. (they failed on a 2 pt. conversion on one of them). K. Dyson was one yard short tying the Super Bowl on the last play of regulation. McNair brought them all the way into that position in a < 2 minute drill. Tennessee was good then. And while Air McNair was somewhat brittle, especially in the latter part of his career, he was good and was Peyton Manning's Co-MVP for 2003. Just one more yard... http://www.thescore.com/news/690473

That was EG's last year with the Titans, by the way. Also the last time a Jeff Fisher team won a playoff game. That guy is the 4th highest paid coach in the league, along with John Harbaugh and Tom Coughlin, and hasn't won a playoff game in 12 years. But I digress... That guy is the 4th highest paid coach in the league, along with John Harbaugh and Tom Coughlin, and hasn't won a playoff game in 12 years. But I digress... yup, Fisher is still getting mileage out of that season. But at least you rarely hear the term "Fisher Ball" anymore. And a couple injury riddled season later,Air McNair was locked out of Titans facilities and participating in off season workout program. They were afraid of him getting hurt and on Titans grounds and be liable for his full salary (9 million + 1 million) and the 23.46 million cap hit; until an arbiter found in favor of McNair. Because his salary cap hit was that astronomical 23.46 million, he was traded to Ravens for a 4th round pick. Colts then played him and Ravens in the playoffs in the famous field goal game (15 - 6) on our Super Bowl run in 2006. But late 1990's, 2000 - 2005, Titans were not to be taken too lightly. Kylo Ren
Titans could be in business if they manage to land Rivers, I think Eddie would like that
theanarchist
Every single NFL team that does NOT have an elite QB struggles to put out a team that can legitimately compete for division titles/playoff run. That has been the Titans #1 issue since McNair has been gone. Call me caption obvious
