Yeah that was a horrible throw that got knocked out of his hands.

That's a perfect example there of context..  On the Stat sheet that will show up as an interception for Manning, but really he did his job perfectly and got the ball where it needed to be, Welker dropped it and caused the interception.

 

Context IS important and something I bring up a lot when posting and this is a good example of that

I picked New England to win, mostly going on homefield advantage. I didn't expect it to be so one-sided. Thinking that the Colts face New England after getting a bye week. I'm glad that the game will be played in Indy. The Colts better prepare well.

Curiously enough that was a similar throw and catch as the one to Welker in the last Pats vs Giants Super Bowl on a key 3rd down that would have iced the game..  He dropped that one and this was a very similar pass and he dropped that as well..
