just in case anyone misses donald brown

I don't believe in slamming former INDY teammates. I am appreciative of his contributions for the Colts, liked how well he ran for us in his final season here, & I have no desire to see him in a blue uniform again.

Just like safety Bob Sanders, RB Donald Brown had his moments inside LOS but we need to seriously move on now. I'm satisfied with Bradshaw & TR had a decent game vs the Jags. We're fine & I have turned the page.

What can Brown do for you? Nothing. Unless your asking me if I'm happy with my UPS shipping company. Yes, I am.

Donald Brown is an average back I am interested to see what Oliver from Buffalo can do and they play the Jags this weekend. Brown will be the pickup of the week in fantasy. SD needs to sign someone isn't Matthews gone 4 more weeks at least with the MCL?

Trent's looked good send him that way for Attachou?

My bet is they grab Kerwynn Williams from the Cardinals PS I always liked him would like to see him set a chance to play.

They went with Shaun Draughn another former Colt I would have thought Williams would get the nod for KR duties alone. They can't let Brown continue to return kicks if he is the starting running back.....

Williams was fast thought he'd fit that Woodhead role well and was there for training camp. His fastest 40 time was a 4.36 I always liked him Arians didn't forget that 40 time.

OP - rather weak, lame post.  The jury is still well out on this one.  You could be right in the end, but we won't know for a while yet.

Donald wasn't picked up to be our #1 back.  He hasn't had much opportunity prior to last week and that game isn't going to be a good comparison.  After losing 50% of our run game in Danny Woodhead it made us a very one dimensional.  Branden Oliver is a rookie and for what ever reason the coaches didn't want to use him unless needed.  AND Donald did what was the goal, run the clock down and don't lose the ball.  The coaches will add in plays for whom we have remaining and then we'll be able to see better how we'll do.

No doubt about it, you can't lose two excellent backs like Mathews and Woodhead and not suffer.

We lost Hardwick, our center and our OL QB - big deal loss, but we also lost Jeromy Clary RG who was a tough veteran.  In addition to Mathews and Manti T'eo being out for weeks, we've got 6 on IR, 1 PUP and 1 IR to return. We can't keep losing starters at this rate and keep up the level of play.

he got 31 carries and got an amazing 62 yards. yea we should have kept him alright

So what's your point? You going to use one game to throw out numbers? I haven't seen any one saying we should have kept him. Jus a reference as his average yards per carry. Most of that was due to the fact that he ran out of different formations and also had a lot of end a rounds. He never achieved what was expected out of him.

and five receptions and no fumbels..in a road win..

Donald Brown will always be there when you need him.

Watch this week..wish we (the Colts) still had him

I wish Brown well, but I don't think he'll be missed. He'd be in Herrons role now, only much more expensive.
