Manusky is a good person but SD and SF both let him go. Mathis has played solid but I thought we would be more creative in freeing him up. Werner has had very little impact for a 1st round pick. Landry plays too much FS when he made the pro bowl last year at SS. I could be wrong but I believe most of us thought Chapman would be a beast as the starting NT. Hughes has been scratched on game day too many times and probably could have taken the reps Matthews got. Instead of building a monster this defense is turning into a nightmare. We have got to figure out what talent we have on defense so we can develop and maximize it.

I wish they were only giving up 3-4 points. Only allow 1 FG or 2 safeties (though I guess that isn't on the defense).
