Dominque Jones back on roster

Looks like we used the spot open from the Rayford trade to put Dom Jones back on the 53 man.

 

Kind of weird to me that we put him on PS, kept Justice Cunningham, then when we traded for Doyle we moved Justice to PS and now Jones is back on the active roster.

 

Maybe they thought Jones would have a better chance to clear waivers right away than Justice??

One of them is out with a foot injury and another one looks to be injury proned.

And, it looks like Pep will have some 3 TE packages in this offense, so having a 4th TE isn't the worst thing.  The importance of fullback in this offense makes Dom Jones moe valuable in that I think he'd be Havili's primary back-up, too.

 

I won't be shocked (depending on Allen's health and our returnmen) if we see Dom Jones or Doyle move back and forth between active roster and PS for a few weeks.
