He’s got to beat Pierce out before he’s a starter. He’s going to go to camp number four on the depth chart in all likely hood. A lot of people think Richardson will finally unlock Pierce so if that happens Mitchell will be a fill in guy who slowly sees his snaps go up if he performs. -

On paper Ballard got a lot of value especially with the high to mid round picks. Still hard to grade them until we see them on the field in game action. -
Man, I will be happy if I am still coherent on this forum then. Thanks for keeping my mind active, it is like a happy place on the internet, this forum!!!

Curious how most other fans feel about or draft on paper. Looks like PFF loved it.https://www.pff.com/news/draft-2024-nfl-draft-grades-all-32-teams -
Besides, Mitchell will only slowly get his reps ramped up because of the head start the others have on him with Steichen's playbook. So, there is that. It might be an evolution for sure but would be hard pressed to play Josh Downs in the red zone with 3 big WRs that can go and get it but the quick outs to Anthony Gould and reverses or pitches will be nice additions by the goal line too. I like the options added to the offense immensely.
