My two cents: Addai replaces Moore?

After what we all witnessed on Sunday, and the fact that Addai is currently watching on TV like you and I...would it be worth resurrecting Addai in the backfield? I mean...he's GOT to be better than Moore? He's had a rough ride since being released by the Colts last spring. Am I alone here?

Addai is not an option. He is not an NFL caliber back anymore. There is a reason he was cut in Indy and NE and has not been picked up by any team - he can no longer play.

At this point in time, Addai isn't any different from any other street back. If the Colts were still running the same offense that Addai ran during his tenure, then he might be a bit more attractive than other backs based on his knowledge of the offense alone.

He had a better shot of getting picked up by Denver when Mcgahee went down a few weeks ago and nothing ever materialized there.   I'm not certain if there is a back on the practice squad or not, but I would rather promote a young player than bringing in Addai or Moore for that matter.

These threads are absolutely hysterical. First off, he has not played all year. Does anyone really think he is in football shape? Secondly, he has absolutely no familiarity with this offense. Why do you think the same guys keep getting brought back? Because they know the offense. Familiarity is far more important than anything else right now. Alvester Alexander will be brought back before they get Addai or anyone else who has no been in the system.

just have to give Ballard the complete work load.

This part I pretty much agree with.

I say pretty much because I think that on some downs, they should bring in someone to spell Ballard. But when we get to the red zone area, you KEEP BALLARD IN THE GAME!

I haven't seen many threads that suggest this, but I think Ballard is looking like the biggest steal of the draft. That guy runs north and south, just slippery enough to avoid a tackle here or there, and pretty much always goes down falling forward, with the ball in his hands. I'd love to see Ballard in Indianapolis for the next 10 years based on what I'm seeing now. Kid should only get better.
