This is the best breakdown I've heard re. Lucks injury

That Mike Francesa is hard to listen to. It sounds like he has a bunch of spit in his mouth and needs to swallow or cottonmouth or something.

I find it odd that this doctor knows exactly what's wrong, but none of the doctors that are seeing Luck don't know?

Actually if the problem is the biceps than that is great news, he will need to have another surgery to correct it but nothing major.

It's called practicing medicine for a reason. A lot of them are just guessing, as is this guy. I'm sure Luck has heard this, but maybe he's  trying  to avoid another surgery. Or not get the surger where they drill into a bone. Sounds like this guy has different techniques.  I hate that a guy in New York has better Luck coverage than guys in Indy.

Very very interesting interview. I hope we don’t wait til the last minute to get Luck whatever surgery or treatment he needs to come back next year...  Get on it now so hopefully he can be back and ready for offseason activities because Lord willing, he’ll have a new offense to learn and master.

Someone needs to put Luck in contact with this guy. Seems to know his stuff. I wish they would have asked him what the recovery time for the bicep tendinitis is. Because if that is indeed what Luck has I’d like to get a reasonable guess at when he’d be back because we now know that the Colts FO will exaggerate how quickly he can get back.

He gave an example of a P who was back pitching after 9 months. Get it done now and that should be plenty of time for next season.

And he also said that pitcher had like 4 labrum tears until he fixed the tendinitis. Perhaps Luck would have a shorter rehab period.

Well, at least I'm glad some more people seem to be more enlightened now.  But there's really nothing new here.  When Luck had a cortisone shot, and it didn't work the red flags started to go up.  When a little rest didn't help either, the flag was even higher. when they IR'd him, the flag was at the top (or to some, half mast). At that point, it was fairly apparent Luck would need at least an arthroscope, I said so at the time too.  MRI's are wonderful approximately some 80-85% of the time, but can and do miss some things. I think a scope on Luck could find any number of things, including the real (but likely minuscule) chance there is nothing wrongs, and he is set back  only a few weeks.  But there could also be structural issues, scarring, or tendinitis (Dr. O'Brien alludes to), etc.

I am almost certain that Luck has been briefed about all of this from (likely Dr. Andrews and other)  'specialists' he sought out and maybe it's not something his ears wanted to hear.  So he seeks out more doctors hoping to get the answer he desires.  Maybe his Europe trip is that, plus (illegal in the U.S.) treatment hoping to avert the next surgery.  Do not be surprised if these manipulated PRP and Stem Cell treatments fail to cure him in the end, though..  (But I do applaud he is willing to try all avenues anyway).

My fear is if there is something that truly needs to be corrected, and it is delayed significantly before the it is finally performed, then some or all of 2018 is in jeopardy as well. But in the end, Andrew's future well being is the most concern.

Yeah, hopefully, he will get that done in Europe. I think it would be so great to see him back next year 100 %.
