chad72
I feel bad for Bryce Young. He is getting hammered left and right. He was put in a no win situation by being drafted into an organization that did not have a plan to support him well with good draft picks and acquisitions. He is heading down the David Carr path running for his life and having people in his face constantly. NFL GMs have to understand not all small sized QBs are going to be Kyler Murray or Baker Mayfield and if you want them to be, you have to surround them with OL and good offensive support first. I don't think that has happened in Carolina. He will be the most hit or sacked QB of all the rookies taken in the 2023 NFL Draft and probably won't see a second starter contract because his confidence will be damaged and get to the point of irreversible.
Chrisaaron1023
I feel for him two, after watching my sons pop warner team get obliterated.. he p can't even get the snap before the other team is in on him.. I can only image its a millions times worse watching it in the NFL.
dw49
Can't be that Carolina sees it exactly that way . He's being benched next week in favor of Andy Dalton. Carolina really screwed us taking the little QB before Stroud.

Also, he started tearing up after throwing an INT. It is a sign of a QB panicking and getting low on confidence too. You have to have tough skin to play QB in the NFL.

That does not sound like him. I heard that Carolina fans are brutal. The owner is worse.

The video ends when he is about to undo his helmet. Everywhere I have checked said that he was about to cry. I have not seen proof that he is crying. Hopefully he will go to a better situation. I will take him as my backup for half a year. Do the Panthers think they can win with another QB?
Happy2BeHere
Young has been benched in favor of Dalton. Breaking news.
holeymoley99
Point spread in game shrunk 1.5 points already with announcement of Dalton.... He actually has only 3rd worst winning % of all QB's in history. Deshone Kizer was 0-15 and Chris Weinke 2-
chad72
We got a few answers this week with freaking Andy Dalton lighting it up. Not a good week to be Bryce Young.

The things that made him great in college are no longer there. He was supposed to process and make reads fast, get out into space and make plays out of the pocket. Yeah, now Andy gets revenge game versus Bengals and could render the kill shot for the Bengals’ playoff hopes.

He's going to do it too. That defense couldn't stop a high school offense last night. Cam Taylor Britt is the most overrated CB I think I've ever witnessed. Talks trash all week long and then does something completely *ic to cost the team. Burrow was supposed to herald in a new era of Cincinnati football and move away from the "thug" label. Instead the team looks more and more like the 2010 era. I think the culture might be poisoned thanks to the Brown family and Duke Tobin.
sb41champs
Praying for Bryce Young!! May a quality team trade for him - and - help him develop. Carolina is the new "laughing stock" team of the league. I bet Frank Reich is counting his blessings for being allowed to escape early on in David Tepper's ownership.
ColtsGermany
I feel sorry for him. Sure he is undersized and can barely see beyond his Oline. But Kyler Murray has the same size and is doing better(more elusive and better runner). I think to make him a franchise qb, would've been a long shot. But what the Panthers are doing to him is almost criminal. He has no talent around him to help him. Or a coach....Canales seems to be a good Assistant Coach if he can work directly with a qb (Maybe we can lure him to the Colts to work with AR lol). But as a head coach, he has other duties. All in all, he was drafted to the wrong team at the wrong time. A decent talent wasted...
smittywerb
Feel for him. Hopefully he gets traded to one of those “one qb away” teams with a good coach and changes direction. Kind of like Justin fields and Sam darnold
rock8591
Anyone remember the "basement scene" from the movie Pulp Fiction? That's how bad the Panthers have done him.
