Something to remember we’ve yet to see Shane’s offense with the two best players in it together other than a handful of snaps.  Yet it was pretty good.  That should get people excited

Moss isn’t Taylor but look how good he was with Richardson. He had one 50 yard run because the defender wasn’t sure if Richardson or moss  was getting the ball. Taylor is so special it’s going to be so good. Then add you can’t stack the box because of Richardsons arm.

Nice job by AR in the presser. I like his confident, but humble mindset for a 21 year old. Hoping that his down time, and slowing down to learn the more complex details of the game from the coaching staff, unleash him to much greater success.

Great stuff. He said "I do believe if I had played, we would be in the playoffs". I agree and I am grateful for what Minshew brought to our team. Minshew made this an exciting year and we had a winning a season record wise. Minshew is a great backup and shown he is an average starter that can win games, but he isn't AR.

1st game against Houston, AR made Houston look silly and we were up 14-0 before he left. I can't wait until next year when we get Stroud vs AR again, we will see how great Stroud really is homer simpson football GIF. Rosters will be slightly different but if you insert a healthy AR last week we win IMO.

Our local media can say what the hell they want about the Houston loss but from Kravitz to Doyle to Bowen to Sweeny to JMV, none of them had us winning 9 games this year before the season. They all said we would stink basically. I had us going 8-8-1 posted right in here - the tie because I knew we wouldn't have a losing season, we even went 9-8. I win whos your daddy dancing GIF.

I used to love the JMV show but he has been ripping the Colts for losing last week. I would ask him this, take Stroud out and lets see them play their backup and let AR play instead of Minshew, then who wins? We had the game won with a backup QB as it was lmao .

Sounds like  an angry middle age dude. I only listen through podcast now and only listen to the segments when the media is on.

A project in keeping him on the field, I guess is my concern.

Yep, as the NFL has expanded the season to about 20 games (including playoffs) I doubt AR will finish any season unless he and his coach severely limit the running game even though it may be what makes him special. He's a big guy but that also makes him a big target, much like Luck — and we know how that worked out.

I’m sorry you didn’t get $1 for every time you’ve told us all that you predicted 8-8-1.   If that happened you’d be one of the richest people in the state of Indiana!

You could even change your handle:

(I love you CBE!  All said in fun!  I think).   :peek:

It's all good. I have to boast about something like that prediction and doing well on my yearly picks since we lost Saturday and the season is over. With it being the offseason for us, things will get goofy in here now with all sorts of different threads chuckling homer simpson GIF.

    • Pick up the fifth option is not a bad idea because Kwitty needs to make it happen this year. That only means him going all out. Stay healthy all year. Dayo is in the same boat end of next season. With Partridge new DL coach it is going to be fun to watch. The DL is the only way our secondary can contain those better WRs.   Just remember the first Texan TD in the last game last season. What a failure!
    • One of the issues seen with Mitchell is that he takes plays off when he isn't getting the ball. If he is to take Pierces role outright, he will need to run those deep routes every time like he is. Pierce didn't just have to most snaps he also ran the most yards. Mitchell will need to do that and run every route like the play is meant to get him the ball. I think Pierce is safe to be a starter for at least the beginning portion of the season just due to his experience in the system and NFL. We have a good problem at WR tho.
    • Additionally   If there is a FS worth their salt AND IF we have a LB that is good at pressure AND the CBs are on point.....we can blitz occasionally from the LB position (keeps them guessing)
    • THIS man "gets it"   Bravo   If you have little pressure, even with ALL PRO / HOF CBs would be a fail   A great FS, can help on these plays that happen, but PRESSURE is HOW this defense is successful (or not)
    • Interesting! I had guessed the opposite based on his size/measurements. Thanks for the info!   As for the topic question, I say yes! That price isn't that high for a DE. I think he takes a step up this year & next.
