Even if colts win you still want teams below and above to lose. If colts could somehow get the browns and get revenge in a playoff game that would be sweet.

If the Colts win their last three what teams below them won’t impact their playoff status.  As for the teams above them that would be nice but they will still be in if they win out.  They control their own destiny in terms of making the playoffs.  That’s all you can ask for at this point in the year.

Holder ....

First off, there are only 5 teams .500 or better in the NFC

Secondly, there is (6) teams that are 6-7, which would be 11 teams right there around .500(4 likely to win today). There is (7) teams fighting for 3 spots in the NFC.(1/2 game difference.)

If that isn't parity there, Idk what that is called?

What a lazy, incorrect and badly worded post.

Was wrong with information (5 not 6 teams) to begin with

Then emphasized parity, slighting the NFC, yet that race is tighter than the AFC, with just as many teams (11)

AFC:

6th seed Bengals 8-6

11th seed Broncos 7-7

1 game difference 6-11

NFC:

4th seed Bucs 6-7

6th seed Vikings 7-7

11th seed Saints 6-7

1/2 game difference 6-11 + 4

I get he was referring to teams .500 or better(I've said those exact things), but by ending first thought with "parity on steroids" and beginning the next with "by comparison" he is diminishing the parity of the NFC, when that's was what he emphasized to conclude his first thought.

To follow up on "parity on steroids" he should of went more of the league as a whole and stated 22/32 teams are within a 1/2 game to 1 game of a playoff spot. Instead of trying to minimize the NFC and posting incorrect stats anyway....

Anyway, sorry for that long rant about a post I thought was lazy.

The NFC has a decent chance of adding a 12th team to that 1 game difference this week also.

Parity is strong right now.

Does anyone else find it fun to see all these backup quarterbacks succeed.  There has been some really good coaching in the AFC this year.

A lot of it is system and coaching and the talent around a QB. There has been 100's of QB's that have never got a chance because they were overlooked, and scouts and GM's have just said you don't have what it takes. I am sure there have been plenty of diamonds in the rough that have been missed. Kurt Warner is the greatest example. Had Trent Green not got injured, nobody probably would even know who he is. He went from bagging groceries to winning a SB in 1 season and making the Hall of Fame.

Titans 5-8, 0-3, 3-6(Texans, Seahawks, @Texans, Jaguars)

I wouldn't be surprised if Titans finish 9-8, tbh.

They will be a hand full, especially at home(4 of final 4 games). Already up 13-0 on Texans @ home, but it's early 2nd, long way to go.

It’s amazing that both Houston and Cleveland are losing. Should they hold up it would make this a better day. We ofcourse took care of business last night

Houston and Tennessee are tied with 16 seconds left…

Kind of always had that feeling that it’s going to come down to the Week 18 game vs the Texans anyway. Important thing for now is to just take care of the Falcons next, who were woeful today.

Damn if the Browns and Texans would've lost today  their game next week basically would've been a elimination game.

Are the colts 6th oh 7th. It hasn’t updated. Not that it really matters. I hate that Texans game may come down to getting in or not.

I think we are 7th currently.

Division should eliminate Texans then Cincy has H2H on us.

Bills could throw a wrench in it here, could bump us up.

I would rather Bills lose.

Brownd bengals still have a game along with browns and Texans next week. Just beat falcons and they should be ok.

I know the falcons just lost to the Panthers, but I'm getting trap game vibes

If colts fall into that trap they don’t deserve the playoffs.
