LOL, Higgins got away with one there.

A little payback from when Ramsey pulled on Higgins' shirt earlier.

Karma's a beach.

Probably why the refs didn’t call. Al’s right, the refs usually let ‘em play on the final game of the season.

holy heck! Intercepted!!!

Yup, but a facemask tug to the ground is a bit worse than a shirt tug.

Now the refs will probably go the other way on the next situation lol..

    • If and when Colts are eliminated from the playoffs AR should start the rest of the games
    • A very common theme since Ballard took over as GM is the Colts extreme (delusional?) confidence in their team and how good they are.  They always think that they are 'close' to a SB or at least a playoff appearance/wins.  This has gone on for years, has constantly been repeated to the fan base, and was a huge reason why they just kept restocking the QB position with retreads instead of making a move years ago to get a good young QB in the draft.   I have never thought this and made a thread about it a few weeks ago.  This team does not have nearly enough elite talent to be great, with or without a solid NFL QB.    And it never has since Ballard took over.    Now, this is bad in 2 possible ways.  Either Ballard and company are very very bad at recognizing the talent, or lack thereof, on the team-which shows incompetence.  Or as I believe, they simply use the "we like out guys/we are close/we pay our own guys as if they are stars" narrative because it gives the impression that Ballard is doing a great job.  That he is a GM guru.  That he should be revered and given platitudes because of how he drafts or manages the cap.  That he should keep his job and we should all be happy to have him.  When in reality?   We have no division titles during his reign.  No SB's.  No nothing.  Just a lot of "we are only a QB away" talk.  Hence his love for all the vet QB retreads.  It allows Ballard to keep his job even though most GMs would have been fired years ago while also keeping a mystique around him, especially from the local media and fan boys, of how good he is.  It is a fall back.  A built in excuse.  So the one time he actually drafts a young QB?  Takes a risk and goes against his philosophy?  (remember his comment to Bowen about drafting a qb and then getting fired?)  At the first sign of cracks in the armor about Ballards mystique as a result of a young qb struggling?   Despite being told they are going to give AR all the time in the world?    He caves and does what....goes right back to playing a washed up has been QB in Flacco.    IF I am AR I stay quiet.  Don't cause a fuss.  And either demand a trade this off season privately or play out my contract and leave.  Because this team has done him no favors.  To the horrible play calling this season to what appears to be a complete lack of communication with him on what is expected?   I would just say "nope, I'm out".  And I would not blame him one bit.
    • Hopefully Shane's hands aren't being tied or forced. Tap out -> equating to lack of leadership plus erratic performance on the field -> enough fodder for ex-players to question AR -> enough ammunition for Jim Irsay to mandate a move Ballard and/or Steichen could not refuse with the short-term goals of playoffs in mind.    I was never a fan of the benching and if Flacco doesn't get us a win against the Bills or Jets or Lions, the chatter will get louder, despite how easy the last few games are, which aren't a guarantee for this Colts team anyways.
    • JT will romp on the Bills soft run D.
    • Thanks for all you did for Indy Mr. Kelly
