Bye week strategy.

We have a long way to go before our bye week. We are beaten to death and can't field the same players and build any chemistry. We need to treat Miami as a bye week/preseason game and let our injured players heal and regroup. Have a huge team meeting rally the troops and get back on track. I feel like we have way too many key players sacrificing the season playing so banged up instead of resting.  It's a long season and one week to help us long term isn't such a bad idea.

Can't do that. Getting beaten by our formed backup QB would be a huge embarrassment. The organization will do everything to avoid that. If we have to wheel out people in wheelchairs, we'll do that before we tank Sunday. Maybe another team, but not Miami.

Forget egos, there is a whole season on the line, we need to get guys healthy and together. Let Hundley run some options and screens. Give JT, Hines, Mack some carries. Let's Mike Strachan go out and play more. If we try to start Wentz like this every week and delay is healing by a month this team will unravel from the FO down.

This FO is gonna mess up our whole season letting Wentzs play hobbled like that. If we don't rest Wentz we are digging the hole ourselves. End another QBs career because of depth issues and our star players are leaving for greener pastures. Buckner is gonna go win ships not sink em.

Miami is a winnable game and we need the win.

If they had any inkling to do something like that they would have sat Wentz last week.

Maybe they thought if we beat the Titans we have the division to battle for. But everyone is so focused on one win they don't see that Oline and Wentz are flirting with toughness and stupidity trying to play injured prolonging recovery times and risking greater injuries. I'd give up a W for the chance to heal and get everyone on the field together ready to go. We're past next man up, we're about to be on the who's going to IR next phase. Q doesn't have a tweak he is hurt man. Wentz and Q are players staff have to say no your not going or they will kill themselves.

If the colts loss this week its time for the colts to hang up the cleets and take this season as a year rebuild and start looking at who needs to go and who needs to stay. Then bench wentz and in the 1st round draft a wr or a lineman

Wentz has played his tail off. He’s had no preseason and came back from surgery quicker than expected. Dude, played admirably against the Titans, even though not  at 100%.  He was traded for to be the QB moving forward. He was not brought for any other purpose but to lead this team. Benching Wentz would be sending the wrong message to him and the organization, especially if he’s healthy enough to play.

As disappointing as the season is so far, we need stop being focused on how the Colts can save their 1st RD pick next year. Yes, it will suck especially if it’s a top 10 pick. It is what it is. Wentz, has been a bright spot for the Colts so far. He’s your QB.
