The Draft Network: New Big Board Builder and Draft Simulator

The Draft Network released their new big board machine and draft simulator:

You can make your own big board and then use it to simulate a mock draft or you can use some of the other already available big boards. it seems like a well done simulator. You can do simulations with multiple teams(even all of them if you want). Very good resource overall about the draft. 

 

Here's my first mock draft for the Colts using their machine:

Their draft is trash... I tried to drafts and the first draft had D.K Metcalf #2 and the next restart had Byron Murphy #3...so i just quit lol

They are very high on both Metcalf and Murphy. Build another board with your own preferences and see if you get better/more realistic results.

Pretty good to use as a tool and the integrated scouting reports are neat too.

 

 

Would be pretty satisfied with this haul.

 

Simmons is a top 15 talent that might be there because of his injury but he will not go any further than the raiders last 1st rounder. Gruden has the time to wait on him to heal.

 

Samuel is my top WR and a tremendous fit in reichs quick hitting scheme.

 

Williams got great length and reminds me a lot of desir.

 

Wren got great burst off the line and fits the penetrating DL style well.

 

Sills comes from a sophisticated Offense in WV and reads defenses well and also knows how to fake out CBs and Ss. He is an QB friendly receiver because he understands that getting open quick is crucial and keeps the QB from holding the ball a quarter second longer than needed. He got good length and tracks the ball well too. I think he would be able to operate on a level with luck when it comes to reading defenses, which has been crucial with luck and hilton, who are very hard to stop, because the both read defenses so well.

I have a hard time seeing us take a TE in the 2nd round (unless Doyle's injuries are more serious than we've been told).

 

I like the Rock Ya-Sin pick, though.

Pretty happy with that! Really like Jelks there, not sure if he'd last that long but can definitely see all the others being available. Or maybe thats just my Horseshoe Bias.

It's way too early to call a draft trash. It takes about 17 years or so for historians to evaluate a draft.

I think if this draft were to happen this way, many would poop their pants in excitement. On paper, that’s a haul of picks. The question I have , so many feel that Sweat will be long gone by the 26 pick, let alone the 34th, would that lead one to think about taking Sweat at 26 and wonder if Wilkins could still be there at 34? Which position means more to this defense, the edge pressure or the interior presence? I’d like both based off draft previews but if I can only have one, do we need edge rushers or the DT?
