According to this graph, blitzing the nickelback is our most effective tool against Blaine Gabbert.

 

 

But seriously, we can't let Gabbert sit in the pocket all night or he will carve us up like Eli did in the 1st half last week, especially over the middle.

 

We might need to go with more cover-3 looks instead of cover-2, and let Hooker roam as the center fielder with a SS dropping to fill in underneath.  Force Gabbert to make NFL throws to the boundaries.

 

Whether we are blitzing LBs up the A and B gaps or blitzing the nickelback off the edge, we need to get to Gabbert early and often.

For some reason i expect 8 men in the box a lot with a lot of planned aggression.

We must hope our starters today are available for 4 quarters.

A mediocre pocket passer is a massive upgrade for the Colts D. Maroita and Henry doing the RPO stuff would have caused more problems than Blame tossing it 7 yards over the middle- as long as the secondary isn't in a fog again.
