savings of $6.6MM to the 2013 cap

savings of $6.6MM to the 2014 cap

Same thought.,right FROG MAN..?

.well we're looking better and better for 2013, I guess...

Not a big saving this year..but a monster saving in 2013 and beyond.

They could have designated him as a June 1 cut, which would have a different set of #'s, but if it were my call i'd clear as much room in 2012 even if it meant singing UDFA's at the league minimum.

His 2013/2014 cap # was 9 each.

@mchappell51

Source says Colts have terminated contracts of Brackett, Clark, Addai, Bullitt. "It's a whole new team,'' source said.

Why couldn't we trade any of them?

ALL OF THEM!? Holy... Bullitt and Bracket, okay injuries and okay talent behind them, well Angerer for Brackett at least, but Clark and Addai too?! Who will Andrew Luck have on offense!?

Austin Collie, Blair White, Donald Brown, Delone Carter, and that's it. (Everyone else a free agent.)

This may also mean that Grigson is looking at free agency heavily...certainly more heavily than past regimes....but that may have been a given. This is just more evidence.

He's almost going to have to just to fill the roster. But may not be that many big signings.

Why do you think the GM will not get talent to put around him?

They will get some FA's and maybe a good draft pick or possibly two but I do not see that being enough for a rookie QB thrust into the starting spot.

Also, Curtis Painter was released.

Anyone think Colts will go big in free agency or just wait it out this year?

I mean I think they'll dive into it a little bit but really the big time money to spend will be over the next 2 years.
