They could have designated him as a June 1 cut, which would have a different set of #'s, but if it were my call i'd clear as much room in 2012 even if it meant singing UDFA's at the league minimum.

His 2013/2014 cap # was 9 each.

No matter who the Colts get for him to play with, they will all be new to him, whether they are vet Colts or not.

They will get some FA's and maybe a good draft pick or possibly two but I do not see that being enough for a rookie QB thrust into the starting spot.
