With the 61st pick the Colts take Rasheem Green-DE

Picked for the future LB to be coached by Robert Mathis while he gets groomed to be a very good LB. Ballard said he was drafting for the future and IMO he will fill that much needed LB position.

With the 62nd pick of this draft @danlhart87 is on the clock.

That is the guy I was going to pick with the #62 pick.

The fans would be calling for my head right about now. I have not addressed any needs.

I would be pretty happy if Ballard could draft this guy. I really wouldn't call him a work in progress over a couple of LB's we have on out team now. Get him hooked up with a weight and conditioning coaches, add Mathis and IMO he will vey good.

So, I am assuming you are OK with losing the chance to make a pick for #150 since we will be doing only 4 rounds?? :)

Just making sure you realize that.

LB? He's a 6'5" 275 lb DE that a lot of folks think needs to bulk up and slide inside to 3 technique. Nothing in his college career suggests he could play LB in the NFL.

Yes, I realized that before I made the trade. I am just playing along. If this were 7 rounds, it would have been an extra pick. Just having fun.

Thanks for asking.

Btw, #95 is the Vikings pick too. It was acquired in a trade with the Pats who received #35 in exchange for #43 and #95.

The Vikings are in need of a guard after losing super utility OL Joe Berger to retirement. After seeing all their OL targets snagged, they are not going to gamble again and risk losing another one of their targets. So, with the final pick of the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings select

Austin Corbett, G/C, Nevada

That concludes the second round. When the Third Round begins (in a separate thread), the Bills will be on the clock. @OffensivelyPC
