Peterson & Brady Combo

Recommended Posts

Adrian Peterson has not so subtly let the Patriots know that they can have him for cheap. Anyone else a bit anxious at the prospect of Adrian Peterson and Tom Brady playing together? I know Peterson isn't quite the same as he was a few years ago, but with Tom Brady and Belichick I think he would be rampant... I mean, look at what they did with a player like Blount.

Can anyone think of a QB/RB pairing that might be more potent? Roethlisberger and Bell come to mind, but no one has had success like the Pats over the last decade and they know how to make a FA marriage work, even if it is only for 1 year.

In a way I would also like to see AP finally be on a successful team that he doesnt have to carry all by himself..... Just a shame that it might be with the Patriots.

Not Scared.

A qb that dinks & dunks and a old washed up rb.

They will still need to cheat.

I've gotten over it.  Brady is the GOAT, Bellichick is the GOAT.  The Patriots have the best franchise in all of professional sports.  It all happened in the past, I can live with it.

It's 2017 now.  They have the same record as us going into this season.  Anything can happen.  Let's look ahead, not behind us.

I came to the same conclusion after the Atlanta collapse.  We move forward with what appears a new team.  Finding new leaders is going to be a supreme challenge for our Colts.

AP wants a ring bad apparently

I don't see the fit. AP would have to take less money and accept that there may be games where he gets a half dozen carries even if he's healthy. The next week he might get 30. I'm not sure he can deal with that type of role or not.

Maybe, I don't know. Stranger things have happened. But I like Blount and would rather see them bring him back on a one-year deal again.

I'm not concerned right now because, as a Colts fan, although I think we could potentially reclaim the division again, I don't think they will be legit Superbowl contenders for a few more seasons.  By then, Peterson and Brady will likely be hanging them up anyway.

Haven't watched that much of the Vikings this past season, but when they played against the Colts, AP looked washed.

Yeah, he was stuffed all game long.  Looked like a shadow of himself, but it was his first game back.

He hurt them them more than helped, that's for sure.

    • With a wave of my magic wand, if I made you the executive producer of a sports network,  I’m confident you’d want your cameras pointed at her.    On balance, Taylor Swift is good for business.   When not everyone, she is good for business.   She’s one of the 5-10 most famous people in the world.   Interest in her is thru the roof.     FWIW:  I have no personal interest in her.  I don’t own an album, couldn’t tell you the name of a song of hers, never been to a concert.     But when the camera points at her, it also catches the wife of Pat Mahomes,  Blake Lively, the wife of Ryan Reynolds,  Travis Kelcie’s mom, plus Kylie Kelcie,  the wife of Jason, the Brother of Travis.  And other celebs who jam in the suite.  The list goes on and on.   It’s good TV when they’re celebrating the Chiefs.   All I’m saying, is you don’t have to like her to know she’s good TV.    I get you don’t want to over-do it and milk it to death.  I agree.   But if the goal is best ratings,  you want just enough.
    • Why are so many people down on the Ravens? Some here say that they played like they were playing in preseason. They seemed to play well. I did not see the last 4 minutes, but it seems that the game came down to the last play.   Fans seem to criticize everything Lamar Jackson does. I don't get it.
    • Yeah, there’s no way he’s gonna be ready Sunday, or any immediate Sunday unless he had the most minor surgery in the history or hernias. What are we gonna do Sunday, carry 2 kickers on game day?    Surely to god they’re not trying to play coy and being cute with a kicker, but there’s not actually any other reasonable explanation for why this is unfolding this way.
    • The end of the season will be here before you know it. 😂 Both Colts fans and Texans fans must be excited to start the season. Both of your teams are loaded. I like Richardson better than Colts fans do. Your division has very good QBs.   The Vikings game on Sunday is taking place in NJ. I am going with my friend who is a Giants season-ticket holder. I'm excited to attend, but I am not sure how we will do this year. I hope you are right about Greenard. We will need him. Like the AFC South, I think my division is pretty tough. The Bears should be a lot better. Hopefully Sam Darnold will surprise us.   How is Tank Dell doing? Is he fully recovered? I did not think the Texans should have traded for Diggs. I like Diggs but he seems to want the passes thrown his way rather than allowing the QB to pass it to the player that is open. I may be wrong.   Anyway, be well!
    • I know 😂 She’s easy on the eyes though, it’s hard for me to replace her 😂   I’ve always been a fan of Hunter’s game! Didn’t know he was a hometown guy until he signed with us. I’m hoping he can have as much impact with the Texans as he did with the Vikes! You’ll love Greenard as well. He came into his own and is going to be a leader on your D without a doubt. With the QBs in the NFC North, his skill set is exactly what you’ll need. Hope all is good with you as well, now let’s get this football thing rolling before I lose my mind 😂
