Hazmat had to come in to clean up mess ,east bound from 4 mile marker was shut down

The wreck here in Princeton happened at the Northern Entrance to the Toyota Plant so anyone coming from Evansville or going to Vincennes, Terre Haute and Points North got to see TMMI from the back side

Nice win by the Cubs, very much needed to keep up in the Division. Both the Cubs and Cincy are now 19-19. Happ and Rizzo both homered tonight and Bryant doubled in a run as well. I like this Happ guy! At last glance the Cards were losing 6-3 to the RedSox in the 8th, if that holds up the Cubs would only be 2.5 back.

Cards lost 6-3 another one of those sloppy games unearned runs cost them.

You guys are still in 1st which is key. RedSox are a pretty tough team.

Agreed 3 unearned runs is not a good thing though. Cant put my finger on it and I know we are not alone in this , the Cubs have done the same . I guess I just don't expect sloppiness from these teams I have seen this year on this scale.

Yeah compared to last season the Cubs have been pretty sloppy with some head scratching error's. I hear ya!

NL Central standings through May 17th:

Brewers 23-18

Cards 21-17 .5

Cubs 20-19 2

Reds 19-20 3

Pirates 17-23 5.5

-Brewers in 1st place, lmao Cubs only 2 back as of now.

Wow. Brew Crew in 1st place. The Central is very strong.

Yeah I was shocked they blew a 4-0 lead. I only seen the last Inning because it was on the MLB Channel. What's up with the Brewers?

Nothing they will fade IMO , its the Cubs and Cards division and the full season will show that.

Yeah I think so too but the Brewers and Reds both have played pretty well so far. I am glad the Cubs have shown up against the Reds, that series had me a little iffy going into it. The Cubs Pitching has been inconsistent all season so far and if their bats aren't going it seems like a loss. Cubs are hitting the ball like crazy against the Reds but still giving up way too many runs.

I was playing music for ya on my Violen lmao. Hey it's now 9-4 Cubs, never a dull moment with the Cubs bullpen!

Haha. Thank you, buddy. I love music.

You should have enough of a lead... but I see there are 2 men on and no outs? :hairout:

    • Ballard speaks eloquently and that makes fan base calm down for that moment, but not exactly transparent...   Example:    Start of last season: Ballard said he liked the young secondary he just drafted.    Year-end Presser: He blamed himself for throwing the young secondary group into the fire.   Pre-draft presser: Ballard says, The young secondary group is not going anymore, and they've all grown up. (When zero off-season program or progress they achieved between January and April)   What exactly transparency we see here? But, Ballard knows how to appease people, and talk to media so that people will trust him.
    • On Grigson we....oh wait... on Ballard we trust! Trade down on select one of the two premium CB and get an additional selection. With injury concerns we will see Latu go down with a season ending injury within the first five games. Bet on it we have that kind of luck. Also Ballards track record on Edge players is lousy.
    • Latu is the #1 DE in the draft in my opinion. He's a technician like none of the others will ever be. Turner has had almost all of his snaps at OLB and probably fits that role better. I'm extremely happy with this pick.
    • I'm not knowledgeable enough to judge this pick but I'm struggling to square two of the most common posts in favor of this pick    1. Injury isn't a big deal.  2. He would have been top 5 without the injury.   Which is it? Elite talent that has no red flags doesnt fall very far. Is it a red flag or not?
    • I thought someone might ask "who" I would want him to swing for the fences for.....and its tough to explain, but I will try. I would have loved Marv Jr. for nostalgia but knew that was unrealistic at any cost.....Liked the idea of Brock Bowers, etc. but its not really "WHO" for me, it was the effort, risk it....and this applies to FA as well. Go out on a limb for a difference maker, I think they are more qualified to determine "who" that is than I.....and maybe there wasn't one. but over the last 7 or 8 years there have been opportunities in FA and draft. So maybe my disappointment is more cumulative than this instance specific......Dunno if that makes sense, he has played it safe for years and does well with what he has had, guess I am saying (my opinion) at some point you gotta say "I am pushing all in" for this player as we need that over the top player now......and he never seems to reach that boiling point.
