Were beaten by the Colts in the regular season. Two at home and one on the road.

 

Might not mean much to some but it does show me that we can hang with the leagues best. Of course though we were healthier when we beat them.

If anyone had told me prior to the start of the season that Indy would be without

 

Ballard, Bradshaw, Allen, Thomas before the first quarter of the season was over and go on to lose Toler, Wayne, and Angerer.

 

I would have said top ten draft pick...  

 

Oh, and get next to nothing out of DHB and T Rich (who was effective in the pass game, but horrid in the run)

 

All in all this season was a HUGE success.  And YES when healthy this team was really tough...

This *might* be derailing the topic just a bit, but even against the Pats, we were only down 1 TD going into the 4th quarter.

 

I can't wait to see what next season brings with full offseasons for T Rich and Rogers, getting Thomas, Wayne, Ballard and Allen back and a healthier defense.

Colts were the only team to beat the Broncos with their entire arsenal of 4 - DT, Decker, Welker and Julius Thomas starting.

 

Patriots beat them without Julius Thomas. Chargers beat them without Welker. Just pointing it out.

The Colts need to find a way to get a a First Round Pick somehow.  I don't know if TRich will ever be an impact player or a game changer.  He dances too munch in the back field with his jitterbug steps, that's why the defense smother him all the time b/c of the few seconds he gives the defense...Oh, I almost forgot the OL needs major overhaul as well.

That is why I'm already so excited for next year, we are join to have so many pieces back from injury.  Plus all our young receivers are going to have time to mesh.  I still think TRich can be a great player, he just needs to have that training camp and preseason under his belt.

LOL. The only way they can get a 1 is to trade Luck. Nobody else on the team is worth that.
