Colts Jaguars Predictions

I would play Flacco this week and let AR and Taylor rest and get completely 100%. Hopefully between Goodson and Sermon we can run it well and Flacco just picks their secondary apart. Jags are pretty bad right now, if there is any week we end the losing streak there, it should be now. We should be able to get pressure on Lawrence as well and force a couple of Turnovers.

Inclement weather, wind and rain will be key  factors in this one. I have attended this game every year in the past 12. I’m probably the jinx, but I’m going to keep going till we get a win. So if AR can go, his legs will need to be utilized so that hip better be 100%. If not, Joe goes.
I saw a stat that was mind blowing, the last 10 years in playing in Duvall, Colt’s 3rd down efficiency is 22%, Jacksonville 58%. Turnover's, Colt’s 26, Jacksonville 7. Sacks, Colts 18, Jags 37.  Someone said it earlier, we seem to leave our game on the bus when we play in this house of Horrors!

I expect that Jonathan Taylor won't play (if he does, he won't be 100%) and Joe Flacco starting.

The Jags expect Even Engram to return, which is a big help to Trevor Lawrence.

This is tough to predict. The Jaguars looked halfway decent last week and almost beat the Texans. The Colts haven't won in Jacksonville in many years. There are reports that Doug Pederson has lost the team and they don't listen to him. I don't know how accurate that is.  If the Colts play like they did in week 4 they will have a good chance to take this game.

BTW is the stadium still known as TrEeverbank Stadium, named after their QB? Or was just for one game?

I thought you have to sit out at least a week with concussions in the NFL.

No. You just have to pass a five  point thing. Since he is in a red jersey he will probably need a full practice tomorrow to get cleared. I think though he can still be cleared Saturday even with a red jersey tomorrow. There is a gray area there.

Still holding out hope Taylor plays. My options in fantasy to replace him are not that good

Sermon vs Jags

Doubs vs Rams

Worthy vs Saints

Not looking promising Taylor plays unless he explodes with a full practice tomorrow id say he is out Richardson looks like he might be able to play...

Colts have 3 of their next 4 games against divisional opponants on the road.  If they could win 3/4 they will be in very good shape but they could lose 3/4 as well.

They need to beat jags and titans . They will be in good shape if they can. Then a lifeless dolphins team comes to town. After that the schedule is ridiculous but hopefully we will have Buckner back by then and are healthier, right now just beat jags and titans.

Question. IF Flacco starts would you guys  still dress AR in case Flacco gets injured? It could be a bad look I guess if that happens because it looks like he could have played.

Who would be the emergency QB behind Sam if AR can’t go?

Something very interesting, a lot of the people in the national media said they would pick the Colts to win if Flacco was starting. This is not just a few people. This is the three prediction show on the Internet saying it now. This really shows that the national media is not really loving on AR even if Richardson plays, how much will he run with that injury? I just found it interesting

With Taylor out and Richardson limited they might actually have a better chance with Flacco. It’s going to be a heavy pass game because jags are good against the run and have a bad secondary.

Just watched the highlight replay from last year’s game in Jacksonville. Gardner went in having thrown 0 picks and air mailed 3 of the ugliest Interceptions, should have been 5 as 2 were dropped. Plus our most effective 4 defensive lineman in that game were, Ebukam,Buckner, Paye and Lewis. None of them will be taking the field in this game.
Joe is Elite Accurate, we can’t turn the ball over. Dline is beyond banged up so I hope we can  control the clock on Offense and finally win Time of Possession. Oh yea and put up more points than they do!

    • Also Peyton Manning made it through his first season So? He made it through his first season
    • The biggest reason the Colts went 3-13 was that their defense was the worst in the league. Their offense was in the middle of the league. It was Peyton's worst season, but he still was first team All-Rookie. He was much better than Richardson is now. I'm not saying that to downgrade Richardson, but just because it's an obvious fact.

    • In Manning's rookie season under head coach Jim Mora, he threw 3,739 yards and 26 touchdowns, set five different NFL rookie records including most touchdown passes in a season and most interceptions in a rookie year, and was named to the NFL All-Rookie First Team.[111][112][113] In his NFL debut, Manning was 21-of-37 for 302 passing yards, one touchdown, and three interceptions. He threw his first career touchdown, a six-yard pass to Marvin Harrison, in the fourth quarter of the 24–15 loss to the Miami Dolphins.[114] Manning's first win came against fellow rookie Leaf, 17–12 over the San Diego Chargers in week 5.[115] Two weeks later, Manning faced off against Steve Young; he threw three touchdowns, tying a Colts rookie record, but the San Francisco 49ers kicked a late field goal to win 34–31.[116] In November against the New York Jets, Manning threw three touchdowns in a 24–23 win; he was named AFC Offensive Player of the Week for this performance.[117] It was the first game-winning drive of Manning's career, as he threw the game-winning touchdown pass to Marcus Pollard.[111][118] Manning was certainly a bright spot in 1998 for the Colts with 3,739 passing yards and 26 passing touchdowns, but also threw a league high 28 interceptions as the team struggled to a 3–13 record with a defense that gave up more than 27 points per game.[103][119][120][121] The Colts lost many close games, including five games where they led by double digits at some point.[120]
