im on here to acknowledge that i still think ballard was wrong about Jones and Baker Jr.... but Abraham I think is gonna be a steal.

I was saying it before the game, and he's now been ranked the best defensive rookie week 1 by pff with a 92.2

Please please please let me watch him learn as a rookie vs Baker Jr or Flowers getting torched

How many practices have you been to?

Sign Gilmore at this rate if we aren’t getting a good safety in Simmons. He knows the system & we’re ready to compete now

I am not sure that would help.  That sounds more like a product of Bradley’s defense and playing off.  Granted I didn’t see it.

If I understand this tweet….  The person posting it (AR5) thinks AD Mitchell is 6’4”.   He’s not.   Mitchell is 6’2”.

I don’t know if that’s from the Richardson family or not?

Just trying to verify.

I can’t see a reunion with Gilmore considering how it ended.  He probably doesn’t want to return nor do I think Ballard wants a guy back who asked to be traded.  I wouldn’t mind someone like Witherspoon be brought in. I have my doubts about Brents staying healthy.

I don’t think it ended badly.  Ballard doing him a solid really considering all of the factors.  I would bet they parted on good terms.

They like Jones.  I could see a vet for depth being more likely than a guy who will expect to start.

I think it was more so Ballard trying to do Gilmore a favor. An older vet going into a rebuild after a terrible season. I think we only got a 6th round pick for him? I didn’t think Gilmore truly asked for a trade either it felt ver amicable

I removed the other post whose author's display name was "AR5" (not the Colts QB). The post contained an expletive that skirted the site filter.  I kept what I thought you wanted to share and it has no swear words.

    • He has a 5.4 ypc this season.   He needs to get the ball more
    • Goodness, that 5 YPC career average includes the anomalous 60 yarders that he hasn't gotten since 2021.  You said the same thing I did except you put a stat behind it.   Defenses shut JT  down the last 3 games of 2021.  That's why the offense collapsed...no...it wasn't Wentz......Wentz had his big play threat taken away so the offense was put entirely on him and the passing game.  That was the difference in the offense from the middle of that season and the end of that season....JT not making big plays anymore.     Ability to score points via the run game is important when there are limited possessions.  Driving 50 yards with a lot of run plays that results in no score....like what happened the entire game......burns clock that you need for multiple possessions to score twice.  Its better to go three and out with 3 filed passes because it only costs you 15 seconds of clock.  Hopefully the next possession connects on a few passes.  A few successful runs are not likely to get first downs, but burn clock in the last quarter.   C;mon man, nearly everybody who wanted JT in the game wasn't thinking about the clock, they were just wishing he would bust a long one like the ones they remember from 2021.  It's what Colts fans do.    And now they'll want AR to throw a bomb to AP....and both of those wishes that will hardly ever come true again will make them think the play calling/coaching some how fails the players when the offense doesn't score.
    • Not a cliche', but the best response a head coach ever had regarding his struggling team.   Reporter: What do you think about your team's execution? Bucs Coach John McKay: I'm in favor of it.
    • 9-7.    So what have learned about all of the teams across the league after two games?    Pretty much absolutely nothing except the Saints are on a historic run at the start. And that the Chiefs will continue to win most if not all of their games under any situation (defense, Mahomes, refs...)
