AD will have more yards than Pittman. Watch!

Maybe.  I'm not sure Richardson and a workhorse WR like Pittman are a good match.  For what Pittman does to work, you need an accurate QB.

Pittman is going to have many more deep shots with a guy that has an arm. Look how good he was with Carson. Carson got it down field to him.

Not going to find it. He's not living up to what he was hyped to be, but he's better than what we had at the end of Vinny's career and in 2021...

anyone was better then Vinny's final season...talk about falling off a cliff,,,,that was awful

Depends on who the quarterback is

Not sure it does. More likely to be 4th than he is 1st. Pittman and Downs will for sure have more, and far more... Pierce likely gets more reps and has more. Might even have a tightend with more. Lower the expectation.

Gay did win us that Ravens game, hope he can repeat that through the season.

That's why I say you won't find someone. They aren't going back to having a liability out there. He's not a liability. He's just not the asset he was hyped up to be. Hope he performs better this year and wins us some games.

AR's accuracy is still suspect.

Tell us how you felt about Granson letting up on the well thrown crosser!

You won't find Anyone posting here that comments on it. Just one person after another that missed what was right before your eyes, if one actually watches the game.

This secondary doesn't give me the warm and fuzzies.

Still early I get it, but I could see the entire thing being terrible (cb's/S's)...

Oof

This is the concern with the secondary. It's not necessarily the starting group (Brents, Jones, Moore, Blackmon, Cross)... It's the depth which is highly concerning. Not looking good.

Inside the tackle defense has been so soft.

Buck isn't playing and Stewart only played the first few series. Depth behind those two is poo though. We need Davis back and for that move to work out.

Looks like an inaccurate throw to me.

    • I agree   There are so many QBs that take time to develop   Richardson is not at his peak yet. Its all about repetition.     Richardson needs to keep learning and keep practicing    Josh Allen had a 52% completion rate in year 1, 58% in year 2, 69% in Year 3 Year to date 2024 he is at 73%   Will AR follow the same path? Who knows?   There ARE plays where he is pin point accurate, so to me that shows the potential   I personally believe that there will be more and more as he gets actual game reps, and learns to read the field     Our current biggest problem is lack of imagination and lack of playmakers on defense.   Our DC had great success with this current defense in years past, but the OCs have learned to beat it   They have moved on, we have not.   Our second biggest problem is at GM   Its clear that this defense is short on playmakers   We had the cap space, we had opportunity, We chose to do little in the offseason    How in the world do you give up so many yards rushing to GB???   How do we not change in game?  How are we not prepared for either team?
    • Not when you're getting gashed from the opening kickoff, players shouldn't be worn down till the second half into the 4th quarter. In the first 2 games we've gotten run over from the first hand off. The Green Bay game we had really good run defense the entire second half, but, who knows, the Packer backs could have been gassed from all the running they did in the first half.
    • Does anyone ever wonder how our opponents can seemingly have tight coverage on our backs, te's, and wr's so our qb's have to "thread the needle" so to speak(Manning and Luck were always making throws that you don't know how they ever completed their passes). But for the past 52 years we don't cover anyone, seriously, I've watched every game since 1996(Sunday ticket) and the most frustrating thing about Colt football is we don't guard anyone. Opponents wonder through our secondary uninhibited virtually every play. It can't be that hard to cover someone sometimes, our opponents do. Even though through the first 2 games this season we've had A LOT of wide open receivers and backs, this offense is loaded, give Richardson time he'll get the ball to them.
