My 2 $50 dollar bets each week, this week is in. 

Week 1 = 2-0 (+$100)

Week 2 = 2-0 (+$200)

Week 3 = 1-1 (Broke even)

Week 4 = 1-1 (Broke even)

+so far $200 to the good at 6-2 overall.

Week 5 = I have Colts over Titans at a pick'em game. I have the Bills over Jags but have to win by 6. I am giving up 5.5 points.

Last year had too many low scoring games, I was thinking while predicting that this year has had only few single digit scores..

 

Last year, Broncos, Bears, Colts.. even 49ers had couple of scores around 10 early in the year I think.

 

I recall Jax lost 6-9 or so to Texans..

Not too proud to pick the Titans, but I think it comes down to our Oline injuries.

I remember a Bears-Lions Thanksgiving game some years ago... I was about ready to claw my eyes out! Ended something like 6-3.

Colin Cowherd said there are rumors he's already expressed he doesn't like the bears and cards organizations. 

Cowherd said he might pull a Elway/Eli. 

 

He's already a Super Star and practically a sure shot to transform  any organization (though the bears/cards would be a true challenge) according to many. I doubt the NFL would want him going to just any team. This could be similar to what Elway did to the colts. There are some enviable teams that may not finish far from making a trade for him very doable.....broncos, pats, rams if Stafford get injured, Steelers?? 

 

I hope he lands in the nfc.... Bold prediction made with a lead pencil: Caleb Williams and AR5 will have a 1-2 rivalry similar to Peyton/Brady.....Elway/Marino/Kelly. 

Unitas & Bert Jones didn't have any QB rivalries because they were clearly the best in their prime.

OK my W/L record so far for Week 5 is: 8-5, I almost nailed the Falcons/Texans score. I had Falcons winning 20-19, they won 21-19. I have the Packers tonight. 

 

I split again on my bets = 1-1. Colts came through for me, Bills screwed me over. So, for the season I am 7-3 betting $50 - 2 games each week with spreads involved. I am still stuck on $200 to the good. 7 out of 10 is 70% on bets which is technically great but ever since weeks 1 and 2, I keep breaking even.

The guys who did well are the ones that rode the AFC South hopes (Colts winning and others losing across the board) plus betting on the Broncos' misery.
