I remember at some point he had a serious injury(ACL or achilles?) and I haven't followed him too closely since.

This is not happening. It was always Irsay that pushed the win now, not Ballard. Ballard have always been long term to a fault.

That is the impression I get. And he is not a GM that goes after the players that everyone wants. I can see him go after an obscure guy like Cooper Rush or maybe Mariota. I think he will draft a QB.

Haha. But it could be a cautionary tale for signing a RB to a monster contract.

Ballard would be dumb enough to use picks for Jackson but too scared to use them to develop his own QB. Makes no sense. We will probably hear in next few days if any teams talked to him. Teams can officially talk to him now.

We need to just take the plunge and quit taking vets. I don’t care if he is a mvp. He hasn’t finished the last two seasons.  Colts just need to stop thinking they are a QB away. Jim wants to draft and that’s what I expect.

Honestly we don't really know what Jim wants. But a proven player like him would elevate this team. In a big way.

You all who want Jackson will be the same ones crying when he gets hurt and only plays 8 or 9 games or gets hurt right before the playoffs. He basically quit on his team too. Don’t do what broncos did.
