About 6 years ago, we got about 27 inches of snow. There was another year when we had about that much (1996 or so). In Buffalo, it can get very cold and snowy, not so much where I am.

I prefer the cold. I would rather live in Maine or Minnesota than in Florida. I don't like very warm weather.

I remember up here it was -30 below without  the windchill in 2003. Ill never forget that.

Not too worried. There gonna be a lot of teams looking for QBs this off season I feel.

The good news is the less the bears have to trade down that is a trade that could happen. We have some players they might want to sweeten the deal. We need bears to stay at that 2nd pick. Which means we need them to keep losing and denver not to get that second pick. Seattle might just take a QB.

Green Bay got to -27 in 1994 I think. It was -33 I think back in the 50s or so.

I hope Carolina wins that division.

Ir would push them down draft board which would be good.

Good for us as well. We play the Rams next week at home and I think we might win that one.

That is cold. Everyone should stay home when it is that cold. I think the coldest I remember was about -15°. I don't know if I left home that day.

Colts need rams to keep winning too. Although lions are not taking a QB with that luck the higher we get the better and makes it easier to trade up a couple spots.

Sam Darnold might earn a little extension as a bridge QB for a rookie.

Lmao

Still have to trade up because you don’t want teams directly behind us to trade up and around us.

Yeah but there’s got to be a realistic price you’re willing to pay too. Can’t worry about everyone behind you jumping you and end up overpaying.

If they have a QB they want you can’t sit back and just let another team go around you.  That is what bad GM do.

Bad GMs also overpay for a few spots and find out they aren’t that far ahead like they thought they’d get. There’s no Andrew Luck or Joe Burrow in this draft.

Look at where the Jets are after overpaying us for moving up for Sam Darnold. Reasonable move up, yes but not at the cost of not being able to field a very good team year after year.

An emotional decision will cost the Colts. Take a swing at a QB, absolutely. Overpay, absolutely not.

There is no such thing as over paying for a QB in draft. Fans are just going to realize sitting back gets you no where.

I sure am glad not every GM thinks that way. Moving up is one thing, overpaying heavily is another.

I guess the RG3, Trubisky, Tim Tebow trade’s happening because a team really really loved the QB they wanted to overpay haven’t taught us QB starving fans a lesson.

    • I’m glad our team didn’t have the bears body language. At least they were encouraging AR on his mistakes. Williams on the other seemed like he is already on the hot seat and teammates are getting tired of it.
    • I will say this. AR imo threw the ball much MUCH better in his 4 games last year compared to his first 3 this year.  Not even close.   I have to believe a lot of that is due to him being unable to practice much on his mechanics until August or so.  Remember even during spring practice he was complaining of a sore shoulder and had to take some time off.   I fully believe that once he is totally over his injury that he will be able to take the extra reps needed to get back into a way of throwing without having to think so much.   I play a sport at a highly competitive level, won't say which one, but I broke my thumb this spring and I just now am start to get back into the swing of things.  But I am not even close to where I was before I broke it.
    • Do you honestly think the Colts will win a SB, let alone make the playoffs....with Joe Flacco as QB?  I mean are you seriously pining for a 39 year old retread ala Matt Ryan to lead this team????   I am at a loss for that and the only thing that makes any sense is your complete dislike for AR is clouding your judgement.    AR is the future of this team.  He has a high ceiling and with him, and IF he progresses, the team could be a SB contender in a year or 2.  But with or without him there is no way in H E double toothpicks that this team wins a SB this year.  Just not enough ELITE talent on the team.  Honestly the only truly elite player on the entire team as of today is JT.  AR could be.  Not now but could be.   Besides that?  Nobody.  By elite I mean game changing talent.    So you ride with AR, hope he stays healthy and finishes the season, and improves. He makes good decisions for the most part.  The INT in the endzone today was not a good one but for the most part he does.  He just needs to gain experience and technique.    But saying JF should start, when at best....I mean AT BESt ALL HE DOES IS GET YOU into the first round of the playoffs?  Who cares.   I would rather see progression from AR, even it means suffering through a lot of losses, and get a high pick for next year rather than go through a 9-8 season with JF.  Remember the first Manning year he was not good, but he gained tons of experience.  We then got a super high draft pick where we drafted Edge the and we were off to the races after that.   I mean, haven't you had enough of Rivers, Wentz, Ryan and Mishew?  I cannot honestly believe people want to go back to that.   FJ is Matt Ryan PERSONIFIED.
    • One progress I see is that he's finishing games so that's a step. The shoulder surgery and offseason rehab has definitely set him back for a raw guy who needs all the reps he can get. It was reported that AR has a total of 30 something starts at qb INCLUDING hs. Think about that most have that in high school alone. Caleb Williams is the 2nd youngest starting qb in the league and had 33 starts in college alone while winning a Heisman trophy. AR is the youngest starting qb in the league at just 22 but has extreme talent and natural gifts that have to be developed.   I think the staff is doing him a disservice by taking away the threat of his legs (see Lamar) because he is not a pocket passer. I think AR needs a go to TE and the Colts need to rely on the run more with JT until AR catches up from his lost rehab time. Give him some easy short throws to build his confidence before he starts throwing into coverage take the Josh Allen approach.   The biggest problem is that Ballard chose a project in AR instead of moving up to snag the polished CJ Stroud. Most teams move up to get their franchise guy unless they already have the number one pick overall. The reason why it's problem is that the fan base is starting to get restless and the thought of another few years of unfulfilled promise seems discouraging.   Once Ballard chose to sit pat AR was the right choice over the awful Will Levis who was a strong possibility if not for Shane according to Shefty and Will's people. Bottom line is that this will take time. Is the overall team good enough to make a push while AR goes through his growing pains to reach his full potential? I doubt it because Ballard's tenure has been spun in mediocrity at best.
    • Honestly no, but then I didn’t expect to see any progress yet either. He basically lost an entire season and offseason because of injury.    I’ll be more concerned if there’s no progress next season.    What I think is much more of a concern this season is that Steichen’s playcalling seems to have regressed badly. I expected a vastly different offense than what we’re playing and I don’t think Steichen is helping AR at all.
