We'll have crazy money going into the 2020 offseason so Ballard will have to spend to reach that 89%. Theres only so much that can go to resign our current players (Costanzo, Kelly, Ebron, Kenny Moore).

I see us bringing back our own and not going out and “crazy” spending as some hope. Ballard himself said he was not worried about the 89% number and we aren’t to far off from hitting it now anyways.

The big thing with this class is age.  A big chunk of players are going to be in the 27-32 age range, with the majority of big name players at 30 or older.  There will be a few younger guys that could be there (26 or younger):

At his season ending presser,  Ballard says he's not at all worried about the 89% rule.   That he and his team monitor it everyday.    He's confident that they won't have any problems going forward.

I would love getting Ngakoe away from Jax next season. They shouldn’t have much cap space next season I don’t believe.

They'll have around $14 M, but they can move on from Marcell Dareus and save $20 M.
