LeBron should be ok, I heard it is a groin so he may miss a few games. What a thrashing the Lakers gave the Champs. The Lakers have a deep team and the young guys are getting better.

They match up well...….GSW plays without a true center and the Lakers won the battle inside....

..and Rondo does not care who he's playing against..

Lance with 11 in 11 minutes...They double-teamed Durant...made Steph work at both ends an let the other guys beat them....

Its only December......but Lakers-GSW is not a mismatch

I had the Lakers and the Warriors in the WCFinals before the season started. Who knows, I may be right? I would still pick the Warriors to win but the Lakers are no joke.

129-121 win ..Hardly a monument to tough defense...but 19 for Tyreke Evans in  19 minutes. Good to see.

Atlanta shot 50% and had 17 3s..we shot 55%

Have we had a game where we had eight players score in double figures?

Not a great game but a road win

23-12 now, still in the 3 spot. Any road win is nice.

Somebody needed to give Kent Bazemore a good whack to slow him  up

But, except for another  semi-tough night by McDermott, this was the blueprint

5 starters in double figures and 3 or 4  doing the same in reserve

I think there's a chance this season that we get nine players in double figures on night

That was good to see because he'd missed some time and had some bad games.

I'm trying to recall that Bogdonavich looked mediocre for about 50 games last year and then he became a real factor....Maybe a vet takes time to fit in (or feel he can take the initiative) with a group of players that have been together.

He apparently did get a shot of 'happy juice' in his knee, too.

Nate is going to have to limit his minutes so 'll be ready in April

By the way, Bogdonavich, whose career average is about 12.5,  is averaging 16 points a game and even those who follow the team hardly notice.

He's rarely hurt and his 'D' is above average. He'll be 30 in the spring.

But I think we'd be foolish not to offer him at least another 2 years

I would definitely bring him back for a couple years. He Stretches the floor really well.

I was getting all happy about how we had 8 players in double figures Wednesday..

….big deal....we have 6 guys who AVERAGE in double figures

...and Collison (8.9) and Joseph (7.5) are not relied on to score.

If McDermott starts to find his shot consistently....(and I think he will)  ,we will really have something

We have a really solid chance of making the ECFinals IMO. Not even being a homer but we have the Talent and Chemistry to do so.

Our regular season record is going to be very good.

One guy sitting out a night (or a week) cant derail us because we have lots of guys who can score

Its fun to debate Myles and Domas and who should start...but combined?   27 points and 17 rebounds EVERY night.

…….We have 3 guys on the bench (Sabonis, Evans and McDermott) who used to start for other teams and all of our top nine have played at least 2 full years in the NBA.

Very few other teams have that much depth.

But what an embarassing performance by Detroit.

I thought they were a playoff team at the start of the year.

That team just gave up

Wins are wins but I wish the other side would at least try

This Pacers team is loaded and IMO the best team in the East depth wise along with Boston. Boston is struggling though. We are on pace to win 55 games.

Bulls shot 51% and had 12  3s.....we were lucky to win

123-115...not a strong game

Thad Young with 26, Bogdonavich with 23

Cavs shot 53%/////

2 games in a row.....we've allowed better than 50%

On to yikes....Boston

Overall 27-13 and 3rd Seed in the East. We are on pace to win 55 games. 1 more game and we are half way through. We are in real good shape.

That's ignoring the results, isn't it?

We are not playing well ..Bad loss to Toronto and the second half against the Cavs was not good.  Both those teams were badly shorthanded....

I dont want to give up 115-120 points and say it doenst matter

Turner is injured so our Defense will struggle. I am not worried about it. If you go by the overall season we have been Very Good/borderline Great. I will take 27-13 all day. We are getting beat badly tonight but Turner is out again. At Boston is never easy anyway, our road record is actually 13-8 so far and that is solid. Expect us to struggle Defensively when Turner is out.

These last 2 games show how important Myles Defense is. When he isn't right or doesn't play our Defense struggles.

Uh, no,.

The last 3 teams have shot a combined 45% on 3s.....and the Celtics are at 56% at the half.

We did not struggle without Myles last year and we dont have to let it happen now.

Down 68-53 at Boston at the half. I'm looking for a rebound in the second half...

Lets make it respectable at least

CBE, Myles isn't THAT good a player and he doesn't guard the permiter where we're getting killed.....

We were fine without him last year when he didnt play

..and he only plays 27-28 minutes a game

I had not heard the theory that our team defense depends on Myles Turner. I really hadn't.

He is a Great Defensive player, alters shots, Blocks alot of shots, which allows the other guys to roam more and play better Defense period. We are 1st in the League against Points allowed and 3rd in FG% against the opponent through 40 games. Myles is out and now look, it's obvious to me. We will have to agree to disagree on this one. When Myles gets right our Defense will improve alot.

Wow. Those stats are not only Myles……..Myles only plays 27-28 minutes and he isn't on the floor at the end of some close games. He's an average on-the-ball defender. I know you see that.

We are good defensively because of our quickness and switching team defense.

I know everybody loves Myles but he plays half the game and he does not guard the permiter where we're getting killed.

I really did not know that Myles Turner was the key to our team defense and that were lost without him.  That's news to me. Say it isn't so.
