i tell you this, used too stories like this never got to me, but man, after having kids, it really does tug on them heart strings dont it?

Geez how heart wrenching......Would be really hard for me to play after experiencing what they did! So sad.

After the massive sympathy I had for him and his family, my next emotion was utter exasperation that he was able to go out on the field and play hours later, an incredible effort.  It may have been that playing was the best way for him to deal with the loss but, I tell you, I would not have been able.

 

As a father of a two week old little girl, he has my utmost sympathies.
