I want Washington to lose anyway. Anything that keeps Cleveland in the 3rd seed... unless anyone really thinks we still have a shot at the 3rd seed which I do not see at all.

we still have a shot at the 4th seed which is home court...Blue

..all we have to do is tie either the Cavs or Philadelphia..we own the tiebreaker on both

we'd rather be 4th than 5th

I don't think so. ..It s the player who is most valuable to his team.

LeBron is the best player in the NBA.....without question. He's been the most valuable player to the NBA for 10 years.

But that's not what the MVP award is for

Let me ask you a question.

Out of LBJ or Harden which one has faced better players and teams?

The west is a lot tougher than the east so wouldn't it stand to reason Harden has played against better players?

True but that has nothing to do with MVP, in my mind.

Its simply not a factor in the equation

What do you mean that's not what the MVP is?  The name of the award is the leagues most valuable player.

C-mon OC,

No..its the Most Valuable player to YOUR team.

That's what it means to me. That's what its always meant

LBJ is more valubale to Cleveland than James  is to Houston, right?

James is carrying the Cavs...(untuil we beat them)

This still would be a great win because Durant, Klay, and Green are playing. Cook has actually been tearing it up too, that is Curry's replacement.

Cook isn't a fraction of the player Steph is..Quinn Cook is on a 10-day contract.

Don't get carried away.

I don't think anyone is going to argue LeBron is the better player but to me Harden has the better season based on PER and leading the league in Scoring + the Rockets have already won 63 games.

Sorry, it is not a team thing.

According to the NBA and it's leagues office it is named The National Basketballs Most Valuable Player Award.

What you feel on a personal level don't factor in it.

Never said he was a Steph but he's been playing good, you haven't watched Cook play apparently. Cook is shooting 49%, 43% from 3, and 91% from the line in his 14 starts. Also they have everyone else playing so don't be a negative nelly regarding this win. Durant by himself can carry a team.

......and Harden didnt play in all 63....again LBJ...more rebounds..more assists..better defender this year

..I dont want LeBron to get any more accolades..Its just what I see

It's not even about LeBron to me or disliking him, I just think Harden deserves it. It could be Reggie Miller having the year LeBron is having and my opinion would stay the same.

Exactly.. Most Valuable Player to his team.......That's what it means. That's what its always meant.

You cant be most valuable player to the entire league ..you don't play for the entire league.

The NBA does not have a criteria for MVP. Its whatever you think it is

What you think the MVP is not what the NBA thinks.  I don't understand why so hard for you to accept that?

Its not about like or dislike..

Houston would be a playoff team without James Harden

The Cavs would not be a playoff team without LeBron......agreed?

And James has better all around numbers..

Because there is no written criteria for MVP..   Never has been. That's been a discussion for many, many years

It is what the voters think it is and neither one of us vote

Only because you are discriminating him for being injured.

This is just one we will have to disagree on I guess.

97-77 after 3.....WE will sweep Golden State...whipping them by double figures twice!!!

./.and if we see them in the finals, they will tremble with fear!!!!

Tonight is more legit at least because Durant, Klay, and Green played. Of course Cook isn't Curry but as I pointed out in his 14 starts he has shot a redhot 43% from 3 and 91% from the FT's.

Whatever the issue..players should get credit for playing every single game...

We wont agree.....and when we eliminate the Cavs, we wont even have to talk about it

The Eastern Conference is winnable for a lot of teams...

Boston is done  (They could win one series but not three)

The 76ers won go far with Embid's face busted up....The Cavs are still not good on defense at all and that wont suddenly happen in the playoffs..

We have every chance to advance
