Why is it we seem to have worthless players to other teams. We never get any comp picks above the 6th or 7th round.  Does make you wonder at the quality of players we have on our team

It's lets us know the lesser quality players we got rid of.

We should have a 6th Rd pick from Seattle, as well,for Marcus Burley I believe. although that pick isn't compensatory.

No, compensatory picks cannot be traded.
