This team is improving year by year, but this isn't solely about Luck. We need more talent around him and coaching staff has its share of learning. Patriots will be a great barrier to jump, but this team is capable to do it, all they have to do is just keep improving.

 

Edit: I don't think we will be able to play for a ring next year, but in like 2 years we will be there.

I think its possible .... but Grigson will have to hit on the majority of draft picks (especially rnd 1 pick) and FAs for us to have a chance.

Green Bay, Dallas, Arizona, SF, Eagles ... They should have been beaten today.

SF is going to be mediocre again next year, the Eagles....you never know what you get with them week to week...

Dallas is probably the only team that can match up with the Hawks.

We still need an influx of talent on both sides of the ball. We need to overcome some erroneous personnel decisions. See: T-Rich, Landry, Werner, and a few others. Lots of needs and variables to be addressed. This team could easily be 8-8 or 13-3 next year. Lots of questions...

I agree there are lots of questions....    I've been saying that for months...

 

But the only way we're going 8-8 is if Andrew Luck gets hurt and misses a large chunk of the season.

 

Otherwise,  we should be back in the playoff hunt again.

Pagano wasn't at fault, at times players need to make plays...you can't always blame the coaches.

With a healthy Mathis, we have Werner and Knewsome getting less attention now. Our pass rush will be awesome next year if Mathis can get healthy and shake the rust off.

I consider this year a success. We are improving every year and we just need a few pieces.

No, not unless you get bigger and tougher offensive and defensive lines, with more depth. You also need a couple of mean, nasty defensive goons to slap Brady around like a wet fish. You need someone like Bernard Pollard to put a helmet to Gronk so he doesn't make " soft" comments, and to knock out Stephen Ridley. This is all Brady and Bellichick understand, and to beat them, you need to be very physical, nasty, and be ready for any sneaky trick that can be dreamed up in the NFL. You have to fight fire with fire.

We won't be Super bowl bound if the Patriots have anything to say about it. Somehow , the Colts just can't get past that team. The way I feel now is that our only hope to the Super bowl is if we don't have to play the Patriots in the post season.
