ProblChld32
The Creif-Meister will get the go IMO although i prefer Whalen and his sure hands.
COLTS449
Obviously Moncrief, We're all hoping he's going to be our future number 1.
Smash Mouth
Moncrief over Whalen. Whalen doesn't get much separation and I always feel like Luck has to put balls into tight coverage to him. He made some plays last year but Pep had no choice but to play him. We could see more 2 TE formations against a beat up/hurt LB corps in Pitt. I wouldn't be shocked if Whalen sees few if any snaps. HtownColt
Obviously Moncrief, We're all hoping he's going to be our future number 1.Nope, we all know TY is the #1 of the present and future
COLTS449
Nope, we all know TY is the #1 of the present and future So you don't hope Moncrief turns out to be even better than TY, I know that would be tough but I think the sky is the limit for Moncrief. ColtStronger
Im almost certain Reggie will play but IDK if we really need him against the Steelers. I just hope he doesn't have any setbacks with the injury.

His route running and hands came a long way from his rookie year. There's nothing wrong with being the 2nd receiver on a team, Reggie done it for years.Just because I think TY is the #1 of the present and future doesn't mean I don't think Moncrief will be good

Boiler_Colt
About 0% chance anybody gets brought up, if so they already would had made that move earlier this weekI think that is a sign that at least Richardson will play. I think they would have brought Tipton up from the PS if they expected to go to Pittsburgh with only 2 health RBs.
Narcosys
I've been a staunch supporter of Whalen and would say him because I haven't seen enough of Moncrief to decide. However, I see the potential of him to be better.
RockThatBlue
I think both will see thbe field a ton if Reggie can't go.I agree. Both will see snaps. Just a question of who gets more.

Darryl C. Patrick
Obviously Moncrief, We're all hoping he's going to be our future number 1.I agree. Whalen is OK. Just ok. Moncrief has shown much better athletic ability and that's what you need to excel at wide receiver in the NFL Not to mention that his hands have been outstanding, as well. DougDew
Moncrief. There is a reason why one was a 3rd rnd pick and the other an UDFA. I do wonder if Nicks isn't catching on for some reason or his lack of targets is just circumstantial bad luck.
GoColts00
I think Nicks, Whalen, and Moncrief will All see the field. Different field positions demand different personnel. Moncrief will probably be utilized between the 20's and Whalen/Nicks will be used near the end zone because of their hands.Moncrief, Nicks, Allen, and Fleener would present mismatches with their size + Bradshaw out of the backfield. gacker65
If Reggie can't play, IMO, we should play Griff. Will not change game plan as Griff is a possession receiver, like Reggie. When we go 3 WRs, bring in Moncrief or Nicks. If we start Nicks or Moncrief, IMO, the game plan will have to change.
