And you saying you haven't read it just further proves my point. It constantly shows what many players thought throughout the whole thing, so instead of asking me to, how about you take about a minute to read a page or two before even replying? And no, this report isn't just to make fans happy. If you think that, you're just plain ignorant. Again, the NFL hired a private investigator to do this, and it's really well put together. And when have i called for Incognito's head? He's a terrible person for tormenting his teammates, but i never said anything about him being banned. Quit acting like he did nothing wrongGod it is so annoying when people act like they know what they are talking about. You haven't read it so quit acting like you have. You're making yourself look bad. There's no comments about "what players though" there is nothing about how players thought he was this racist out of control bully. No player said that. So it is clear you didn't even read it. It's one thing to state your opinion but quit trying to just make up facts in the fly and pretending you did your homework. And they didn't hire a private investigator. Wrong again. They hired a criminal attorney, why criminal? I think a litigator would've been a lot more appropriate myself . TYhaze
I'll take that as you have no rebuttal to the fact you didn't read the report and presented completely false informationNope. I didn't read it. It's all media propaganda that was made to belittle Incognito for being a little racist. There's no detailed accounts of different interviews with several different people, and theres no part anywhere of incognito admitting that he actually did say most of the stuff Martin accused him of. The media obviously created this report just to make people call for Incognito's head even more.

Indygal1218
Just a little homework from someone who hasn't read the full report: The people hired by the NFL are litigation attorneys. Facts are not that hard to come by when one does a little reading. I recommend it be tried sometime. From nfldolphinsreport.com: On November 6, 2013, the National Football League announced that Ted Wells and the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP had been retained to direct an independent investigation into workplace conduct at the Miami Dolphins and prepare a public report for the Commissioner. Can't have it both waysNever did i say that players were quoted saying things and their opinions on the matter. But a large part of the report is constructed through the views and ideas of the players in the locker room, including texts between Incognito, Pouncey, Martin and other players on the offensive line. Most of these i can't copy and past into here because it is a family friendly forum. Specifically, players aren't named, like Dustin said, but please look at this small part: "Other members of the Dolphins offensive line in 2012 and 2013 told us that they had heard vulgar language used frequently. Most of them reported that they did not believe that Martin had been singled out for harsher treatment and that, in general, they did not believe that vulgar language was used on the offensive line to harm or demean. A few players said that they believed that Martin was treated better than other rookies because he was a starter, and they reported that other linemen, specifically Nate Garner and Josh Samuda, seemed to “get it worse.” Some linemen recalled hearing comments about Martin’s sister, but most denied hearing such remarks made frequently. On the other hand, several linemen, whose statements we credited, corroborated Martin’s account that he routinely had been spoken to harshly and said they understood why he was offended. And several players we interviewed from other units on the team suggested that the vulgar language Martin complained about was over the top and was not common elsewhere among the Dolphins." Any way you look at it, the situation isn't good. Like i said before, this report heavily cites what other players thought of the culture, and it presents views from both sides of the story. Quit acting condescending and demeaning when you yourself only nitpick with the fact that i said he was a private investigator.

Especially with all the direct quotes. This just sounds so subjective of what the interviewer thought happened and isn't concrete at all. We don't know what the players thought, this is just the investigators interpretation. OffensivelyPC
It would be reasonable for Martin to fear that asking his teammates to stop the harassment would only increase said harassment. They are already making comments about him being a wimp It wouldn't make any sense to think that if he says "Hey guys that makes me uncomfortable" that they would respond with "Oh sorry, didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, we're just having fun, we'll keep it in check, no hard feelings." No that's only going to encourage more of it. Don't disagree with you. It's very possible that I would do nothing. I guess I'm in the camp that you never know unless you try. Gabriel Alexander Morillo
Name 1 member of the dolphins who came out when this all happened and said they thought Richie was wrong or a racistYou all can just screAm the report but until you post something of substance. I also restated I didn't think martin should not have a job solely because of his drug use but yeah ignore that to further reduce Gabriel's ability to read fluently and comprehend what is read, just what we all need.Again none of you who want to bash me for speaking out how I feel have addressed the texts between Martin and incognitoI've seen this type of the thing before several times in elementary and middle school, one person is joking, the other is a sensitive wuss, and without sticking up for themselves r saying stop they just pull the rug out from under the person and just screw them so badIn martins case it's probably because he was mentally unstable and insecure to begin with, and he wasn't going to leave the dolphins and say "yeah guys I'm unstable and insecure and want to kill myself" because that would end his career. Instead he yanked the rug from Ritchie and made his bad jokes THAt THEY BOTH participated in and make him out to be a racist biggotUntil you have read the report you have 0 credibility on this subject and your opinion should be taken as uninformed. The only ones who know are in that locker room. A lot of people here who "read the report" seemed to contradict each other's statements and shows they didn't read it or are lying or manipulating what's in the report to fit their agenda. I didn't know credibility Was measured on a number scale? Wow. And I don't think that report should automatically make all other evidence that supports my views null and void. You can choose to think that. People have also posted direct quotes from the report that indicate the majority of people of the dolphins believe nothing bad happened, and since the guy thinks it's best not to use names I don't feel as if the report is credible at all. How can you sit here and say that withouth using names it isn't at least possible he literally made everything up. You can't. So screw the report. As stated above innocent till proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. And saying well I had to keep everyone's names out but some guys said this some guys said that etc doesn't prove anything to me it's very opinionated.I have no opinion because I didn't read it wow. That's like saying a colts fan wrote an article about the patriots explaining why the colts are a better team and I said I'm not going to read it because I think it's bias and you say I have zero credibility to say who's better because I didn't read a bias, opinionated, no sources cited, article. Fail as usualOh No, you definitely have an opinion. I mean that No one should take it seriously and if they do entertain it, then take it with a salt shaker full of salt.. Naptown Lifer
Oh No, you definitely have an opinion. I mean that No one should take it seriously and if they do entertain it, then take it with a salt shaker full of salt..I try to backup my opinions with logic and reasoning but that is something you don't understand so it explains why you feel that way The same could be said by the majority of people who posted here, I highly doubt anyone besides maybe a couple people actually read the 144 page report but I see you didn't bother to say anything to them. I just don't bite on everything right away and take a step back and look at things with common sense. There was a lot of conflict with the report and martins texts that showed a lot of members of the dolphins organization didn't believe Richie did anything wrong. If it was that bad I think people would be coming out of the wood work complaining. You haven't posted anything of substance here to back your beliefs just mob mentality " your right get em" non sense that is just pointless to even argue or even better your opinion is not credible because you did the same thing everyone else who has the same opinion as myself did" did you read the report? For all you know it could be a bunch of garbage like the 9/11 commission or Kennedy assignation report, but you'd rather come on here and make intelligent comments such as lol and your I opinon is not credible cool tired of seeing it, tired of you trying to seem witty all the time, and tired of you just ignoring logic and facts I present and making a 7 year old argument that I'm wrong just because hahahahaha . ColtsBlueFL
We'll since you ALL have read the 144 page report within 24 hours it should be pretty easy for someone to come up with a BUNCH of quotes from players saying Richie was wrong or a big got. Or is the reading comprehension on this site really that bad.Should be pretty fresh in your head to give a quote from a named source. If I read 144 pages of something in 18 hours it'd be pretty fresh in my head. You can keep giving these vague generality like, oh go read it yourself you don't know, or we'll mike pouncy was guilty too so no one supports him, but until I hear some kind of substance I don't have any reason to believe it sorryNot all were quoted publicly for this reason- "In some cases, witnesses specifically asked that their identities remain confidential—a few even seemed to fear potential retaliation for cooperating with our inquiry—and we honored their requests. The NFLPA was sensitive to the privacy concerns expressed by some witnesses and was helpful in obtaining the necessary cooperation. We hope that by demonstrating sensitivity to issues of privacy and requests for confidentiality, we will encourage witnesses to cooperate with any future investigations by the NFL (unconnected with this matter) that may result in public reports. " But are on record. Also there's this- "A few players said that they believed that Martin was treated better than other rookies because he was a starter, and they reported that other linemen, specifically Nate Garner and Josh Samuda, seemed to “get it worse.” Some linemen recalled hearing comments about Martin’s sister, but most denied hearing such remarks made frequently. On the other hand, several linemen, whose statements we credited, corroborated Martin’s account that he routinely had been spoken to harshly and said they understood why he was offended. And several players we interviewed from other units on the team suggested that the vulgar language Martin complained about was over the top and was not common elsewhere among the Dolphins. " I'm not going to go through finding all the things I had read again tonight, but everyone was interviewed, some twice or more and all statements were either backed up with evidence and deemed credible or not backed up and considered not as trustworthy. I' don't feel it members obligation to do your homework and re-read the report and show you things you demand. You really should just go through it yourself and discuss the particulars with folks. ColtsBlueFL
Say something I haven't already addressed multiple times Repeating the same tired argument does not make you correct. Some people have read it. 140+ pages of verified fact incriminating Incognito, Jerry, and Pouncey. Only a few paragraphs supporting him - who knows, possibly members of the CYA posse, I assume. Other lineman players came out against Incognito, just asked not to be named publicly, but they are in the report, just not the public portion. ColtsBlueFL
Naptown lifer sad: "There's nothing definitive in that piece of junk to prove anything. A bunch if contradictory statements. You guys need to learn innocent till proven otherwise because that concept has started to go down the toilet with our society and the media. I don't think a bunch of masked faces saying contradictory statements proves anything definitively if you do then I pray you are not a politician " Pardon to bust your bubble, but that report is not an idctment, but a verdict. Commissioner Goodell can and will act on it. He can hand out punishments as deemed necessary because of the verdict placed in his hands. Now if the parties want to go to court, they can. Here's a couple sites abotu that- http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/9932264/florida-law-provide-big-payday-jonathan-martin-sue-miami-dolphins-richie-incognito http://blogs.findlaw.com/tarnished_twenty/2013/11/miami-dolphins-hazing-invesigation-what-if-jonathan-martin-sues.html Wells likely has given Martin enough to assemble and present a case with Clear and Convincing evidence. The NFL must step up and meet out penalties and punishments to shield them from liability, ad possibly even prevent Martin from filing in the first place. But if he does, that is where the innocent until proven guilty comes in. As far as the NFL, the report convicted Incognito and 2 others. Incognito doesn't deny most everything in it.
