Who is Joe Gilbert?

Gilbert is the offensive line coach for the Colts.  He should be dismissed.  The O-line is the weakest link of the team and in football it starts up front.  Does Holmes just not have it?  He has not been given a chance. It is difficult to believe that he is any worse than anyone else we have in the middle of the line. This group has digressed during the season.  If the talent isn't there, it isn't there, but I believe that Gilbert is able to coach these players to their abilities.  See ya Joe Gilbert.

The talent is not there  http://www.colts.com/team/coaches/joe-gilbert/6c25abe3-ee4d-449d-a99a-c95fb7fb07cb

As long Satele and Mcglynn are starting or have a chance to start on this team we will not get better along the O Line...We also have a 3rd round rookie Guard starting that clearly has no business starting his 1st year in the league

Thats Gilberts resume......He has spent 15 years as an O Line coach.......Very productive

Cant fault Gilbert at all with the lack of talent on the Oline.  More Zone blocking may help though

good coach, just needs more talent to work with, plus it is hard to keep the same players healthy

I think a major part of the problem is poor blocking schemes and not just talent.

The missed assignments and poor play designs point to Gilbert.

Blocking schemes are good actually, Execution has been poor to down right god awful since we had our O Line coach last year(forgets his name off top of head, Harold something...Gilbert I think, he works for the Cardinals under Arians now). and its continued this year with 2 constance remaining the same...Satele and Mcglynn. Its not the O Line coach....No chance it is on this one

gilbert has coached satele to pull to the left side and run block, he has made some good run blocks lately.gilbert took advantage of sateles speed and had him pull and run block. also he knows satele makes good snaps and not many penalities. colts rookie center would have been a risk. sateles weakness is pass blocking and run blocking up the middle.gilbert found a way to use the talent he has on the line.
