We slept on Benny Cunningham [Middle Tennessee State]

This video kinda' sneaks up on you, and you don't expect to see what you're gonna see @ the 1:50 marker. After the 1st couple of plays, you're ready to go to something else,...then all of a sudden you find out what he can do....this is amazing....he would've have been a great addition to the team...

For what it's worth....     just double checked,  and the RB we took, Kerwynn Williams, was the 8th ranked RB in the Pro Football Weekly draft guide...

 

Ahead of big name players like...

 

-- Joseph Randle

-- Stepfan Taylor

-- Christine Michael

-- Knile Davis

-- Marcus Lattimore

 

All of them were drafted before Williams.    My point is not that Williams is better than them,  only that he was highly regarded by some who do this for a living....    this is no scrub running back....   the kid has serious talent.    Barring something unexpected, he'll make the team and contribute.

Though the touchdown run around 3.30 was nice.

Agreed.  I even saw him get his QB popped whiffing on a block after the P.A. fake to him.  I'm happy where we stand.

Yeah that play was awful. There a few decent runs in there but I think he's lacking in a lot of areas. I think we have 2 better backs.

He does not look to have alot of elusivess from the tape or ability to be much of power runner, and he about got his QB killed trying to pass block

HIs TD run at 3:30 was more impressive then the one at 1:50.  The TD run at 1:50 only showed that the guy can put on the jets a little bit when in the open field.  But other then that, it was good blocking that got him there.

Even that was more down to poor tackling than anything he did...
