So apparently our biggest draft needs WERE OLB & OLine

They actually were discussing trading into 2nd round:

#Colts never really considered trading up. Didn't want to mortgage the remainder of draft to move into second round.

I would have traded into the 2nd if possible or at least up to the mid 3rd for Winters, I think Thornton will be much better then any Guard we have had in recent history but I dont think he will be anything special (which he dont really have to be special). wonder how long before he starts to

I've just never understood how folks could know our needs were Oline & OLB yet want to talk about CBs.

That's some cornerbackite behavior.

Never has and never will make sense. ;)

The whole "cornerbackite" thing is getting old ... stopped being funny a long time ago; it ranks right up there with being played out like leon sandcastle references.

It's funny when people don't know the difference between "then" and "than"!

Someone who corrects grammar on a web forum jumping in to defend something thats annoying! Priceless!!!

No what I bet is hurting the colts right now is all those good players went off the board in round two but the colts didn't have a 2nd round pick this year and one WR I wanted was the other WVU WR Bailey what sucks is at the tail end of the third round the rams snagged him the would be the second WVU WR they got in this draft now they have both cant even believe I am saying this but Sam Bradford might actually be really good this coming season.

Such a tired and lame retort... although I'll quickly concede you are far less guilty of bad grammar as some.

We are all on this web forum, theoretically, wanting to communicate our thoughts. FWIW, properly using written English only helps in that effort, and butchering it can definitely lead to confusion.

That said, I frequently post from my phone, and I am not good with its keyboard, so many of my posts are littered with typos.

I could understand that point of view if you're talking about individuals who are talking about cornerbacks to the exclusion of offensive linemen and pass rushers. And I'm sure some were.

    • And his coach is Reggie Wayne ?!  Somebody pinch me!
    • So true. I was watching his presser yesterday as I wanted to get a feel for him after some of the negativity surrounding his personality on the draft day, and I LOVED how happy and excited he was. I had a little fear that some of the fan base would buy into the negativity prematurely and make it a rough start for him, but I don’t think so anymore.    I think he and Latu are both going to be playmakers for us, if not this year then very soon. Have a feeling they bring exactly want this team needed to finally take off. They bring a lot of faith to me, together with Richardson and Steichen. Can’t explain it, but the pieces to the puzzle is suddenly to see on the table.
    • Cubs beat the Pirates tonight but the Brewers won as well, what else is new lol. Cubs are now 23-16, Brewers are 23-15.
    • Couldn’t agree more! The chip on his shoulder is a very good look. That said, I have always valued the “clutch” gene in players.    It’s truly something that can’t be coached and can’t be taught. AD has IT! Period. Exclamation point! He has it. Name a better receiver in the college football playoffs/ championships ever…   You can’t teach that. He has it. He can be that guy. He is the 33-32 Colts over the Pats, 4th and 1, AFC Championship, game changer. He can be that guy… Will he? I have no dang idea. But does he have the ability to be? Yes! Resounding, yes!
    • I absolutely LOVE that Mitchell picked 10 as a constant reminder that 10 WR’s were picked before him.  That is a GIGANTIC chip on his shoulder.   So far I like everything I’m reading about the kid.  There may be speed bump or hiccup some day….  But so far so good.
