Brown downgraded to questionable/likely out today.

Donald Brown (knee) has been downgraded to questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Brown was listed as probable after returning to a full practice Friday, but team doctors reportedly found swelling in his knee Saturday. His Week 9 status is now in doubt. Brown will be re-evaluated Sunday as a game-time decision. Even if active, he would be used in a committee role with Vick Ballard.

Hope he isn't turning into another perpetual injured player for the Colts. Like how he is stepping up his game, but has to be on the field to be of full value. Hopefully nothing serious and back Thurs. if sidelined today

I hope he plays, I need him on my fantasy since Ridley is on a bye. But I'm not so sure.

Now I have to decide between Brown, Ingram, and Felix Jones for my flex spot since a third of my team has a week 9 bye...

Appearing on NFL Network's GameDay Morning, Albert Breer reported that Donald Brown (knee) is unlikely to play on Sunday against the Dolphins.

Brown was downgraded from probable to questionable late on Saturday after the running back experienced swelling in his knee. Brown missed Weeks 6 and 7 after undergoing a knee scope but returned last week against the Titans. Vick Ballard will now take over feature back duties and could even play on third downs after the release of Mewelde Moore last week.

Well it looks like Ballard & Carter will be doing the work today.

Probably going to be seeing Robert Hughes in the game more.

Anyone know if Tannehill & Hartline are playing? Huge Blow to the Phins if they don't.

    • Just to prove it really is possible:       Had to adjust some things because Johnson went a few picks ahead and Qualls went way earlier than expected. But I pretty much was able to get the first 4 picks all in order.
    •   If the Saints make the playoffs in the next year or two again with Brees nearing his final run in the league, I think they might have to consider him. Or they should. His stats are usually off the charts, but they need to be back in the playoffs.
    •   I'd love to get him in the third or fourth. Fast physical lber with a lot of pop in his tackles. He'd go sooner if he didn't get hurt.
    •   I like it too though I am torn on Smoot.
    • I think the argument at this point is due to the lack of talent elsewhere. We have Anderson, Langford, Ridgeway and to a lesser extent Kerr (if we keep him) at DE. That is a fairly solid rotation, although not elite. That being said, the 2 most promising players are very young and could mature into above average - elite players given time and reps. Not really necessary to write them off and relegate them further down the depth chart. With the way the CBA is, the best chance for them to progress is in game situations.    OLB on the other hand, we have Maggitt, Ayers and a couple camp bodies on the roster. We essentially have 2 rotational guys (at best) that have no business starting, and nothing else.    OLB = Major need DE = Not major need   Im not against grabbing a DE in this draft (if they are clearly the top player on the board, or at least the top defensive player) simply because any talented player will help the defense at this point, but I wouldnt call DE a position of Major Need.
