Since NFL players can only have a certain range of numbers corresponding to their position, sometimes two players get the same number. One player is always an offensive player and the other player was a defensive player, ensuring they weren't on the field at the same time, so there's no 'competition' between the two aside from simply fighting for a roster spot (at which point one or both players switch numbers if they make the team).

88 is generally a number for the best receiver just like 12 is for quarterback and 32 is for runningback, 21 for cornerback, 52 for linebacker. College would be 1, 55, 44

Matt Merletti- Hes a very versitile Saftey he would have been a mid round Draft pick if he didnt blow his knee out a year ago

Micah Pellerin- Hes probably one of the top UDFA Coming out this year hopefully he makes a big Impact

Griff Whalen- It never hurts to have another target Luck if use to

Chigbo Anunolby- at 330 lbs we need another guy to fill that hole ate NT

Chris Galippo- Out of USC hes a big name he is a great fit to our system and can get 1 or 2 starts this year
