Hillarious stat. I bet you won’t believe this

Recommended Posts

Ok...first the debby downer: those numbers are maybe misleading and meaningless. We played the Packers with Malik Willis at QB and didn't win. Titans are a mess,we knew that before the season. Jaguars, well little bit surprising, but tough schedule so far.

Texans,a surprise that they lost to Vikes.

At the end of the day, only wins count.

The positive take: Encouraging stat and something to build on. It SHOULD convert into more wins in the future.(At least within our division).

At least we aren’t giving up huge points to bad QB. I saw someone mention this and I was like this can’t be true. Sure enough it is. lol. It’s really too small of a sample to really get much out of. Because with only 3 games it’s who everyone has played.  But the point was is I was shocked it’s true because the vibe really didn’t feel like that.

Texans had a bad game versus the Panthers last year too, gave Frank Reich the only win, remember?

So, these early season numbers don't mean much w.r.t how good OR how bad we are. Like Ballard and Steichen said last year, they evaluate 1 quarter at a time and it is very clear we have not played at our true potential.

There will be games we were supposed to win that we don't and games we were supposed to lose that we don't, and until game 17 is done, the season should be alive for the Colts since their roster is a competitive one. The QB play will be the one that decides if it is a 7 win team or 10 win team, when it is all said and done.

It does help when Sunshine in Jacksonville is stinking it up and Will Levis, he's now leading the league in turnovers (8) and pick-sixes (2) through three contests. But like I said, it is a LONG season.

It’s too small of a sample. By about game 6 we will have a better feel on where teams stand. I just find it funny because it defintely did not feel like this was the case.

I just wish for more substantial achievements.  It keeps from getting over excited about mediocrity.

Look up the word HOPE.   because without it you have nothing   Not just for this team but life in general

Every year I think to myself:

“The AFC South could be a strong division this year…”

And then every year the AFC South proves to be the weakest division in sports…

Jags 0-3

Titans 0-3

Colts 1-2

3 teams in the top 5 for the NFL draft next year at the moment. (Yes we’re currently in the 4 spot).

You come to a thread based in positivity, and drop negativity.   Why?

I thought the title of the thread was tongue in cheek, and you're pretending its something positive just to have an excuse to get on me.  Typical.

Overall, I hate the forum when it gets cluttered up by over emotional posts that think the Colts are going to be good this year because they had false hope about AR, then later clutter up the forum all frustrated and mad and * when they realize their feelings lied to them about reality.  Both the joyful hope and then the inevitable depression are simply posts that never should have been made in the first place.

Wipe away the extreme posts on both sides, and the forum might attract new members that participate and talk actual football..

I don't care about you enough to care.   You could have easily skipped this thread.   There are plenty of threads talking about X's and O's.    You didn't post in them.   You chose this thread.   Why?

I'd say that once they are done tightening the bolts and cleaning up the small messes we could be a very dangerous team

If richardson develops we would be fine .  the defense for how bad it looked in green bay still only gave up 16 points .  I am hoping we turn things around

Hang the AFC South Banner high.  Weren't the old ones taken town...for a reason?

Hey, the wonderful thing about diversity is that you have people who don't think forums or threads exist to be a safe-place for positivity bubbles.

And some people just like to rain on any parade they can.   They just like to be Debbie Downers at all times.   Funny, you of all people talking about safe spaces.  You complained laughing reactions were "aggressive".  You are a miserable person.   Everyone here knows that.   I hope you get better

Give Gus an extension.  It’s all about the points.  Bend but don’t break.

Points are ultimately what matters most, but the TOP for this team is ridiculously lopsided towards our opponents. AR and the offense need to string together more drives, no doubt, but the defense also needs to get off the field and give the ball to AR and the offense. They've been really bad at that and that's because we give too many yards away.

I think this is one of those things that is fixable     Once AR gets on track
