Steelers Colts Predictions

The Colts take Gus Bradleys top 32 ranked defense into LOS to face the Steelers and the Justin Fields re-hab train. The game will remain close prior to kick off, with the Colts keeping the score close during pre-game work outs. Once the players take the field the devoted fans will take solace in holding the Steelers to 31 points as the Colts lose 31-10 on a meaningless late 4th quarter AR scramble for a TD.....and on to the next! If were lucky we get out of the game without key injuries....

Since Shane has been coach, the worse loss we have had was 29-10 to the Falcons - Pittman didn't play. Other than that, all our losses have been in close games. I will take 21 points if you wanna bet Season 4 Cards GIF by The Simpsons

Steelers Oline is a little banged up.

I read that Paye said he will be ok in the locker room after the Bears game.

Waiting for Today’s injury report or maybe we won’t see that till tomorrow. Worse case scenario, no Kwity, Kenny and Flowers. Who else will make a surprise appearance on that report also? It’s always someone we do not expect.

Tomorrow. Steichen had no updates yesterday

Yes it will make it easier to handle Watt.

Colts seemed to handle Watt pretty good last season and our OL looks better this year.

Got to hand it to Tomlin. He knows very well we are not using AR in the run game so he brings it up like they have to account for him.  Very clever.  Taylor is the player they fear.  Not AR.  Let’s see if Shane can out coach Tomlin.  He needs to get creative and get AR involved in the run game.  If he does that we can win this game.  Play to our strengths. Run the ball with Taylor and AR.  Then the passing game opens up.

Also give Sermon some reps as well  he’s a powerful RB and a good pass blocker as well.

This is a huge break for the Colts.  This game is very winnable with Fields as their quarterback.  Our quarterback needs to show up.

With TUA out and Jags struggling colts need to at least go 3-1 in the next four games. Because get that they have a stretch of 5 games that will be very difficult.  Then they end the season with an easier schedule.  Hopefully AR will have worked through some of his struggles by the time that hard stretch gets here.

I didn’t realize how favorable the next 4 games are if they can beat the Steelers. Jags, Titans and Dolphins without Tua. This game could be critical.

100%. But don’t look at the 5 after it lol. They need to go 3-1 in this stretch. That would have them at 4-3.  Thst middle stretch is hard but the ending stretch is much easier. Hopefully by the time we get to that middle stretch AR has things figured out. I think Steichen is still figuring it out too. It’s not like he had a lot to go on from last season.

See above at the last 5 too lol. This season is far from over. We needed Sunday and got it because you can't start 0-3 obviously.

i hope smith can stop tj watt

The key to stopping Watt is to run the ball well. Not get into a situation where wr have to throw. Need to have sustained drives and not get behind the sticks.

I am excited for this game.I am excited if the d can play well again and if AR can play better then last week.

    • I wish I could go back and re-live the Manning days. I didn’t appreciate enough at the time how awesome it was to wake up Sunday morning and pretty much know the Colts were going to win and 18 was going to do something special.
    • after SB celebrations me and my family decided to skip out on the parade out of fear of not getting into the dome. Found out later they had to turn people away at the doors. It was so loud in there you could only feel the screams leave your body. That place was rocking.    to OP, I miss a lot of things about the Peyton era, but I’ll go with one less talked about. I miss Bob Sanders and and his effect on the defense. I miss Tony Dungy and his always punt/kick the field goal ways.
    • Absolutely- and this is a central way many fans are disconnected from the priorities of the Colts brass.    CB and SS would love a division title, sure, but if they were being honest they would admit this is, in reality, a throw away season- everything they are doing revolves around developing AR, and that supersedes winning. If that wasn’t the case, much would be different, ie Richardson would be using his legs much more on designed runs and scrambles rather than being trained as a pocket passer; Taylor would have played 4th Q va Packers; and people calling for Flacco to start would possibly get what they want.    Personally I agree with the focus on Richardson’s development and health.
