Anyone else curious if he makes a jump this year?   I think he flashed last year and can add some value to the LB room.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE story- his dad was absent, his mom strung out on drugs, and he raised his two little siblings practically by himself including driving them to school in his moms car when he was 11. He got accepted to Yale! Later he got into drugs and partying and almost committed suicide at one point. But something happened and his life turned around. 

If you want an inspiring story- definitely worth reading!!!

 

The comment section is filled with people talking about tearing up while reading it, plus some Tampa fans who loved his special teams effort and wondering why they traded him for a 6th, lol. 
 

I’m a huge Grant Stuard fan now- I might get a jersey.

 We are in the playoffs, due to injuries he is the next man up.

Short, 30" arms, runs in the 4'6's. He would be a weaker link and a target.

Im not arguing that he would have a role if there were injuries. But compared to what the original poster asked , his impact will come down to ST.

I'm very interested in Carlie's as well.  I'm just not sold on our starting LB core.

He sure looks like he's giving 100% every time he's on the field, 

I notice him a lot on special team plays, but not sure if he got very many snaps at Lb on D?

This is a rare type of person. He would give you his shirt off his back, his last dollar, etc.. if more people were like him this world would be a lot better place. Regarding football, he gives 100% too, if anything, he would make a good SP Teams player and a leader on that squad.

Just double checking….

But isn’t Stuard already a very good special teams player and a leader of that unit?

i liked him since seeing him on teams when we traded for him
