Yeah that does not look good for Lawrence. I still think jags beat panthers. Something to monitor for week 18 and the titans though.

If there’s one game Bryce Young might have a break out game in this strange NFL season lol.

Here is the Texans players that got hurt in the game Sunday.

Early in the game against the Browns, the Texans faced a slew of new injuries, all on the same side of the ball. In a matter of minutes in the opening quarter, safety Jimmie Ward (quad), defensive end Jonathan Greenard (ankle) and cornerback Steven Nelson (foot) were deemed questionable to return due to injuries.

Panthers offense seems to be getting better. Really happy young had a 300 yard game. Even if GB defense isn’t good that’s a huge accomplishment for him.  It’s in Jacksonville so not sure they can repeat it. Just win Sunday against raiders and we will see how jags go against titans.

Looks like Texans have a beat up secondary so maybe titans can take advantage of that Sunday.

Am I correct that if Titans beat Texans and Colts win Sunday texans are pretty much eliminated from the playoffs? With bills having 6 losses seems Texans would have 8 and could not get in.

Do we need ravens to beat dolphins so that bills  and dolphins game means something? I guess it will mean something to dolphins either way but colts kind of need bills with a 7th loss. I guess it doesn’t matter too much if we don’t win the last two games.

I do believe we could eliminate the Texans this week with a win & Texans loss.

However, it’s becoming more & more likely that we are only fighting for the 7th & final spot.

Cleveland and  Buffalo/Miami are likely to get the 5th & 6th seeds.

If we lose this week, it’s almost assuredly over for us.

That’s fine. But why focus on that instead of the OBVIOUS mistakes the Colts made?

If we hadn’t had four turnovers or let them score so many points off of them this would have been a non-issue.

I was only giving my opinion on the post that compared the Speed "no call " to the butchery in the Cleveland game. I don'r recall saying we played a "clean" game or even a good game.

Pretty much.

I think my scenarios are pretty solid.

Easiest paths

Beat Raiders

Texans lose to Titans

Bengals lose to Chiefs

Steelers lose to Seahawks

That almost does it there: 93%

Then easy clinching possibilities week 18, even with a loss.

Not in the slightest, all kinds of scenarios where we lose to Raiders and beat the Texans and get in.

This one is really easily obtained:

Quote

Would need:(lose to LV, win vs HOU)

Chargers to lose to the Broncos(week 17)

Bengals to lose to the Chiefs(week 17)

 +

Texans lose to the Colts:(week 18)

+

Raiders lose to Broncos(week 18)

Plus Steelers lose 1 or last 2.

I think Seahawks needing a win to get a playoff spot and being a better team then Steelers Seahawks will win that game. Glad that’s in Seattle. Rudolph is starting again.

Bengals defense is not that good. Raiders used a lot of emotion to beat a division rival. KC should be able to win. But that offense has not looked good.

Stroyd most likely comes back. Seems he has made progress. Then we don’t know about Pittman and smith. Smith is huge this week against Crosby.

Looks like Lawrence might not play with them getting another QB. But they should still beat panthers at home. Would be fun for the division to come down to week 18.

Another scenario:

If we beat Raiders and lose to Texans(alternate scenario)

Would Need:

Week 17:

Bills lose to the Patriots

Panthers lose to the Jaguars

Texans lose to the Titans

Steelers lose to the Seahawks

Bengals lose to the Chiefs

Chargers lose to the Broncos

Week 18:

Titans lose to the Jaguars

Bills lose to the Dolphins

Raiders lose to the Broncos

Hardest thing there on paper is Bills losing to Patriots, everything else seems more than plausible.

We win one of the last 2(9-8), especially the Texans game(which you've stated lose to Raiders) most likely we are in the playoffs.

Only Texans, Colts, Steelers, Bengals can get to 10 wins, and only 3 actually can. Seems more likely that none of them will and 9 wins will be the mark.

We own most the tie breakers now and we will own most of them then.

Raiders talked a lot before and after that KC win. Hopefully they used all their energy and flying across country they don’t have much left.

Bradley knows how to make backup QB look good and they do have Adams and we have such a young secondary. He better not play this like Bengals and give them all these screens because he is worried about Adams. Jacobs should be back too. Colts have not looked good running the ball even with Stewart back. Not putting pressure on a rookie is stuff that should have him fired.

This would be so interesting.

They need him, I know that.

I would bring him back next year if the opportunity presents itself, for sure.

I think his HC appeal should receive a bump, so he could get a HC job?

If not KC better pay the man.

I assume WA would have to give him permission since the new league year doesn’t start until march.

1) I did not need an explanation of what a trap game is.

2) The Raiders have a losing record and just saved their season. They are not good enough to just show up and beat Indy without their best effort.  I don’t buy for a second that they overlook Indy.

I thought the same thing as the Colts went into the Falcons game but yet here we are.

Greenard is big.. good pass rusher.

I don’t think you are quite where you think you are.  They got outplayed and out coached plus missing Pittman hurt, but to say they overlooked ATL is nonsense to me.

You mean jags lose to the panthers right?

No, that game really isn't important for this one for this WC scenario. I went back and re-entered. However if Jaguars lost both games we would be Division champs. I didn't do any of those as we know we need to play a game better than Jags over last 2. Not too much to look at there.

Just need:

Bills to lose to the Patriots

Texans lose to the Titans

Steelers lose to the Seahawks

Bengals lose to the Chiefs

Chargers lose to the Broncos

Then week 18:

We lose to Texans

All we need is:

Browns to beat Bengals

There is so many different scenarios, I just put out a few. This was a work off a different one.
