every season we should compete, the off season is to build a roster that can win. we have not done that under ballards method after 7 years,his draft picks have been getting experience for 7 years

I agree. I wanted Stroud first (better passer) and Richardson second. My point was that MOST d coordinators would have feasted today and came after the rookie big time with a lot of different looks combined with multiple blitz packages ESPECIALLY if he was playing behind a third string makeshift o-line. Gus has been in the league long enough to be capable of mixing in some press man against a ROOKIE.

Stroud looks good.  Dude's a passer.  I thought he looked good in limited action in preseason.

Yes game over, Colts win!!!! Minshew showed to be a capable backup scored a couple TDs with him!

Overall good game, at least I think so. Sucks that Richardson and Kelly got hurt. Glad we were able to get the win.

CBE was saying this is the best half of football the Colts have played in 2 years.  I was simply pointing out the Colts played an even better half last year vs. Minn.   

 

That’s all.  

I don't consider  it better because  that lead was built mostly  by the defense. This one was good offensive  execution.
