Season starts for us April 7th, we play the pesky Brewers at Wrigley. Kyle gets the start. I am ready. This will be an interesting season after we cleaned house. I am off Thursday so I will watch it.

Seasons 2015-2020:

6 Playoff appearances = 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2020

3 Division Championships = 2016, 2017, 2020

1 NL Pennant = 2016

1 WS Championship = 2016

In 2021 = dismantled the team.

-I don't expect much so at least I have no stress anymore. I see us winning maybe 75 games, 75-87 around that area. I hope I am wrong.

I think my Reds will end up right behind you guys. Most likely in 4th place. Another lost season, but at least we're not the Pirates or Orioles, so... Yay?

#SellTheTeamBob

That does not sound accurate but maybe it is. Who would have thunk it? They have had some good teams. I liked watching the Barry Larkin, Norm Charlton, Rob Dibble teams. Those were the days I liked baseball very much. You associated players with one team.

I don't like baseball today. We have the DH in the NL. :yuk:  Max Scherzer is a Met? Smh. I don't like it.

It’s sad isn’t it? 1995 was the last time we won a playoff game…

The Reds won playoff games in the last decade (2012?) but they did not win a playoff series.

Correct. I believe the last time we won it was against the Giants. We were up 2 games to 0, and then epically collapsed losing 3 straight.

I’m going to take any positive the Reds can give me. And going into Atlanta on opening night, and playing tough against the defending World Series champs on their home field is a hell of a positive and way to start the year.

Our bullpen might not be able to seal the deal unfortunately. Up 6-3.

The Mets have the best record on Opening Day. Today they are up 5-1 in the bottom of the 7th against the Nationals.

The Mets broadcasters were talking about Adam Wainwright's pitching performance today -- 6 scoreless inn. Congrats.

Oh no, the Nats hit Pete Alonso in the shoulder and hit the helmet. This is the third hit-by-pitch tonight. The Mets do not retaliate. They will have to do so this year. The last few years, Mets players have been hit by pitches a lot but Mets pitchers don't do a thing about it. Buck Showalter won't allow that to continue.

I bet if the Mets put in Dwight Gooden for just an inning and he dinged someone, opposing teams would quit that stuff! lmao He could probably still throw 90. He was over 100 in his prime plenty of times.

Gooden delivers the pitch, and the result is Season 4 GIF by The Simpsons
