A Nats pitcher once again hit a Mets batter with a pitch. The ball hit the flap on the helmet. That is 4 times in two games that Mets players gave been hit by pitches. The benches cleared, reminding fans of the days of Rob Dibble.

Good to see the Brewers losing back to back to start the season. The Cubbies are reminding them that the division isn’t going to be just handed to them.

Late to the party, I had to sleep today due to getting ready to go to work here shortly. 9-0 Cubs win! No matter what happens tomorrow we will at least win the series. Lets see how the first 30 games or so goes, if we are something like 20-10 we may have something.

The Mets won their first series 3 games to 1. Not bad.

 

I'm still not a fan of the DH.

Cardinals take 2 of 3 from Pittsburgh and wrap up the series today.  Albert is back, but only played in the season opener for obvious reasons.  Looks like he will mainly be the DH against left handed starters, at least for now.  Royals come to town next.

Cubs improve to 3 and 1 by beating the Pirates tonight. Fly the flag Hozer. Good start to the season.

Kershaw perfect game through 7 Innings on only 80 Pitches and Roberts takes him out with only 6 outs to get

Cubs play the Rockies late tonight at Colorado. Rockies are 4-1 and now have Kris Bryant. Cubs come in at 3-2. I will watch this one, I am off work.

I would be happy to see the Rockies win a world series finally. In fact, pretty much any of the teams to have never won would be cool to see, with the exception of our divisional nemesis the Brewers.

Nice win for the Cubs last night as they down the Rockies 5-2, Cubs are now 4-2 on the season. It is real early but they look pretty good so far.

I am pleasantly surprised that the Mets starting pitching is very good, even without deGrom. They have a below 2 ERA.
