Pascal called for taunting.

Did anyone ever see Pascal taunt before 41 hit the refs hat and got ejected. I thought it was made up nonsense to offset the penalties. I never seen where he was on the play.

NVM I looked at it again and he was pretending to hold a flag in Youngs face. Can't do it.

was at the game and saw the same thing... plus he was pointing at 41, bonehead move on his part based on the refs focus on that this season.

Yep I knew it as soon as I saw it.  This is an issue of hate the emphasis on the rule but the officials got it right.

It didn’t off-set because of the way they occurred it ended up hurting the Colts.  It was half the distance to the goal for the Rams and then they marked off the full 15 against the Colts.  The good news was Pascel redeemed himself by catching a TD on that drive.

It was a stupid play, plain and simple. I would like to know why that moved the ball back to the 9 from the 4. I still havent gotten an answer on that

Yup silly play by him, can’t do it now.

 

Although, I saw plenty of other flag worthy taunting penalties by other teams for the same situation in yesterday’s game and none were called. They also didn’t call a face mask on Wentz.

 

Sometimes Colts games seem to have different rules. Not blaming the refs by any means for the loss because the Colts are just bad but it just seems like an on going thing.

If you saw the penalties against the Chargers vs the Cowboys, the huge number of them including ticky tacky ones, it felt like Jerry Jones was on speed dial into the refs' ears.

 

Refs unfortunately have way more impact on the game than we'd like them to, so the only way is to play like a robot and direct your emotions towards the air or the man upstairs if you do have to show them. Just don't give them a reason to call something.

Did everyone notice that 41 actually made contact with the refs face (throwing a half hearted punch, no less). 

 

I'm not surprised Pascal went bonkers for a sec, but I suppose by the letter he was wrong too, but I was annoyed at the time for sure.
