Maybe but I can guarantee they have had some coaches that taught the proper technique.  Just because other coaches may have not paid attention to the technique. Now they are professionals they will learn it or they will get penalties.

My observation is the same. Just use him like Shane Vereen and a bit of Dion Lewis and cut out all the damn kick and punt return mess.

I am not mad about the rule it is the enforcement that I see as problematic

I haven't seen him get close.  He did get penetration on a couple of plays, but its like he gets lost after getting the penetration.

      Every QB is a steal if they can win Super Bowl... Or get closer there or conference championships consistently. All other QBs steal money from the franchise.    Problem is, because of very few highly performing QBs, any or all average QB gets paid... guys like Kirk can make volumes of production and continue to get paid while inconsistent QBs will not be with that team long enough to see all that pay.

      Yes, he might not end up replacing Fries.  And I like Fries.  I’ve often reminded this community that Fries this year graded out in the top-40 percent of all guards.     I just don’t think Goncalves is athletic enough to be a long-term RT.  I would think the Colts would want someone more skilled, a better athlete, a little longer.    I would be happy to be wrong.  But I see the Colts 2025 first round pick being the RT that will ultimately replace Smith.    JMO.
