Or perhaps he is secretly trying an unsanctioned robotic arm and it's just not assimilating to his body as planned.  If you watch some of the sideline footage of him, and listen closely you can hear a slight whir when he's moves his right arm.

You know, I did hear that whirring noise a couple times.  I thought it was my TV.

I don't think I have ever seen Nadine Impatient, if she were to become that look out :sarcasm:

Bah! Ha! ha! Now that was funny! Well played CBE; well played.

Cute line there Nadine. Here's to hoping that I never step on your last nerve Nadine. Just joking!

It's always the respectful, quiet, & good natured individuals that you never want to antagonize isn't it? I kid; I kid.

He is a Great player but does look like damage goods. He gets beat up a lot. I am glad we are being cautious with Luck.

Cam has looked very uncomfortable in the pocket this year.  Almost like he feels the pressure but is afraid to scramble.  I'm guessing he's thinking too much about getting injured again?

Really? Where's the "Official" thread about this?... I'm just screwing with ya

Let me put it this way....   if you and I both have operations on our foot, but yours is on the heel and mine is on the ball of the foot then you can see they are different operations.

Same with Andrew and Cam.    Same right shoulder, but different part and different operation.

Or Grumpy Cat

I like the grumpy cat one myself because cats by their very nature let you know what kind of mood they are in: playful, sleep mode, or keep your distance if you know what's good for ya.

Or my personal favorite. I will grace you with my presence. You better appreciate that BTW. [I'm speaking from the cat's perspective there. Not my own. My cat was like this all the time.]

You have cats I know Nadine. Therefore, you get where our 4 legged family members are coming from. :P

@Lucky Colts Fan thanks, part of the problem with changing user names is there needs to be an associated profile pic change.  It's a whole new persona. Not sure I have it in me right now

For what it's worth, you as a grumpy administrator would be a turn for the worse for this forum.

I know that's a load of responsibility, but I believe you are the woman we need, and your current profile pic says a lot.

Maybe instead of a house-cat, you could be a bad-a$h Panther.  Like Bagheera.  You could use the motto of our Colts Defense, too.  "Let's Hunt" for rule-breakers...  :gym:

The older I get, the more stuff rolls off of me.

Sometimes to the point of just not listening.  That's what my daughters say anyway.

I like the Lets Hunt :)

There's also an investigate what ya doing phase when you're trying to put something complicated together like a bedroom set or  a large entertainment center. Then, they get upset when you shoo them away & don't pet them endlessly. LOL!

Whenever  I needed to get something intense or elaborate done, my cat always wanted some quality time.

You know nothing of cats you simple human.  :grumpy2:

Now fill my food bowl so that I may eat at my leisure, clean my bathroom so that I may defecate at my leisure, and open all the doors at least six inches so that I may experience the outside world at my leisure...

Or you will never pet me again!  Much less rub this luxurious belly!

Yeah, the only difference between cats & kids is no braces, driver's ed, & expensive college tuition to pay for. :P

Seriously, like your inference astutely indicated pets rule the world vs humans & that's a okay by me.

I like dogs too, but I prefer cats. Plus, you never have to walk cats in the bitter cold of winter either.

Or any kind of a schedule disruption.  They never stop complaining about those

Well, you are wrong about Luck throwing. He has been throwing, he has been throwing different lengths and velocity instructed by his trainers and doctors. His time table to return to practice is the next couple weeks.  How he performs at practice and maybe the most important aspect of his rehab is how he feels the next day after practice will be the telling tale.

How do you know this??

Back to what's going on with Andrew Luck. Does he have a pet?

That's a very good question especially pets that have an uncanny resemblance to their owner.

Something very furry in Andrew's case. Now, we need dog & cat breeds that look like Luck. Such as...

Cão da Serra de Aires. I think they are originally from Portugal.

Or this feline...

I have said this more than a few times, I have had 3 surgeries to my shoulders, the same that Andrew had, 2 on my throwing shoulder. It takes 10 months to really throw again, and full strength is about 1 year! Throwing and a throwing program are 2 entirely different things. How do I know this because I have had to do it twice!! Andrew is approaching 10 months he is right on schedule! But honestly Luck will not be 100% this year at all. Next year he will.

Thank you for this informative post HSH. I like reading about forum members that underwent the exact same procedure. You lived through it  yourself so, you would definitely know & I have no reason to doubt you at all.

Even if Luck can't go this yr, I'm okay with it knowing Andrew will be completely healed by 2018.

Andrew Luck is an avid beard-lover.  This is one of the many beards that Andrew owns.

Some are rescue beards.  This particular beard is named "Caveman Movie Role".  It's only three weeks old right now (just a pup), but years from now, when Andrew is retired and has the time, he plans on finding a suitable home for this lil guy.

Whether it be a remake of "Cast Away" or "Game of Thrones", Andrew hopes that this beard will find the right home and lead a full and happy life.  (This beard has been neutered and is up-to-date on all shots)

I have read all of your post in this regard and I fully understand (and appreciate)  what you are trying to say as I have had several surgeries myself and completely get the recovery side of it.  Your input on the subject is useful to those who care to embrace it, but it unfortunately it also falls on many deaf ears here on the forum.

Until AL is actually on the field whether in practice or a game, this is going to keep coming up so in a sense you are wasting your breath bro.

To the bold:  That is unless he gets let down by his/ the OL that has been a work in progress for what seems like 7 or more years now, and someone hammers him to the turf were both of them land full force on that shoulder... ugh.  Lets hope not.

Thanks for your perspective, it is helpful.

I get what you're saying & you're not wrong BR 549. With Brissett holding down the fort, I feel good knowing that INDY can score on offense. JB has proven that & Simon, Melvin, & Hooker are making plays on defense & in the secondary week to week.

Here's my biggest fear though: Giving Pags a 4 yr extension simply because Luck was healing & missed significant time. I could see Jimmy doing that as clear as day. I like our run blocking & there are times where our OL gives our QB a clean pocket. I just don't like how we fell apart in the 4th Qtr vs the Browns. Whenever we face a playoff team, we normally struggle unless it's the Broncos of late.

Yes, I know Chuck won the game, but we played not to lose vs stepping on Cleveland's throat & slamming the door shut. Like Superman said in another thread why run into the teeth of an opponents D every down when Gore had the ball? Grrr! Try more screens or naked bootleg passes to your backs or try running outside for once perhaps? Hmmm...

    • I'm excited about our future. I think Ballard put together 2 very nice drafts in a row. Never thought we would get Latu, thought we had a better chance at Bowers. Still holding out hope for Cross, he flashes greatness than dissappears, hope he's consistent. Hope Woods takes lead in TE room. I keep writing off Granson, but he keeps impressing. Even if Richardson has a mediocre season I think the team around him could get us to 10-7.
    • I think you understood his words in a "positive" way, but that's not what he said.   He DID NOT say that "most of you would choose to get married..."   That's your implication. Of course, only women can bring children in this world and most of the women will choose to be married and have children, but that's not exactly what he said.   He said, "doing so - while some others will go on to lead successful career in the world - will take you closer to God's Will"    Here's what he said from the transcript:    He could've said, "even if you go on to have a very successful career, and get the greatest accolades of the world, I think the most important title of a woman is :  Homemaker. And, that would take you closer to God's Will"    But, he didn't say so because he wanted to say exactly what he believes women should do and brought God into that by saying that's His Will.    I think he made a mistake of implying that women are generally excited about marriage and having kids and being a homemaker, when that's only part of a woman's life - even though that could be the most cherished and blessed part of the life.   He only looked at how that made his wife's life - his words, not his wife's words by the way - and projected that to all the women.
    • This happens every single year and every single year people worry about the occasional unsigned rookie when we haven't even gotten into June yet.   Guys/gals... it's really a big nothing burger. Ever since the NFL introduced rookie scale contracts this has been a non-issue. Everything important in those contracts has been made non-negotiable. The negotiable things are largely minutiae - it's about schedule of payment...it's about off-set language, or language about voiding salary payments(for example - can the team void payments for suspensions and stuff like that), etc.   There are two cases I remember in the last 10 years where this has become a problem and the player has actually missed training camp practices because of it - Joey Bosa(because of schedule of payments dispute) and Roquan Smith(because of dispute about the language about voiding payments for suspensions because of play). And as you see... Both of those were top 10 picks. (i.e. more money on the line)...   Holdouts/holdins of day 2 and day 3 picks are pretty much unheard of. I personally couldn't find a single case when I looked for it.    AD seems to be taking part in both rookie mini camp and in OTAs and hasn't missed any practice, we haven't heard about any sort of dispute so far, so my assumption would be there is nothing to see here and it's all formality.    So yeah... Unless we hear there is a problem I would just assume everything is good.
